I have been meaning to post this bog for ages now, but with the hassle of getting everything ready for our move to Colombia, everything not connected was put on the back burner…. We discovered The FoodLab which is set within a nice stretch of Essex Road.

wow! what a juwel! had such a nice breakfast with ier benedict and amazing American coffee. great mood in islington give him such a foreign, but at home felt. If they're looking for something else, they'll go to this. the next train station will be fishing. alichiapretorius

disappoint. uninterested employees who did not respond to ask, a good lasagne that was pampered by the fact that it lukewarm and a non-working wireless network despite the security it worked. dissatisfied reaction to complain. that is my second negative experience, which is such a scandal, as the space is very annoying and the good could be so good. was very disappointed after giving this place a second chance! the employees do not speak English very well and are very abrupt and inappropriate. the breakfast looked awful and tasted mainly because it was all warm! my eggs were raw and the sausages were very dry. not impressed by considering that "the close habit" has recently introduced this place! all show and no substance!

I remember when it first opened and I used to eat lunch there everyday as the food was fresh and amazing. I stopped going as they started charging £10 quid for a tiny piece of Lasagne that they warmed in a microwave! To my horror they actually do all there pasta and risotto in the microwave, certainly not ten pound worthy On top of that the staff are rude and don't speak a word of English. I remember when it was literally just liliana everyday (the good food lab days) Never believe in tour own hype and never get to greedy for money as it shows in a very bad way!

Awful Service. We went for an early dinner on a Saturday night. There were two other customers in the restaurant/cafe when we arrived. When we walked in the door we were completely ignored by the man behind the counter, so after standing in front of him for a minute whilst he re-arranged the pastry on the counter, we sat ourselves down at a table. We waited for 15 minutes whilst the man behind the counter re-arranged his food display on his counter top and went into the kitchen (we watched him chatting to the chef).
