"Good place good atmosphere, in particular the pub seems come from prohibition period, it's cool and the atmosphere is very relaxing especially if you want to spend a relaxing evening with your partner even if Some table are to small. I went on monday and actually I didn't understand if it's a bar for old people or not (while that evening the average of age was a little high). The staff doesn't speak English but a waitress that has a basic knowledge of it (really basic knowledge). The owner doesn't know any kind of hirony, and I don't know if he is shy or unpleasant. Bytheway the beer is good and cheap (a 33cl blond draught beer costs 2,30€ not so bad considering Germany's prices) and the schnitzel enough good, so it's good place to spend a couple of hour without going in Darmstadt city centre."

The food is excellent and absolutely recommended. The service is impeccable, somewhat remote for my taste (but friendly impeccable). Inside it is cozy, but can be full. There's a nice beer garden out there. Overall, I can only recommend it.
