"We were in the beer garden for dinner with dog. The service was very hectic and unfriendly despite some guests. I had a pig roast that was okay. My wife had cheese parrots that were dry and slightly seasoned. My son had Savenger with Pommes, where the Pommes were the only good. The Scavenger was without sauce, dryness, fat and without taste. Without a drink it was hard to eat. He reads me taste and I was glad not to have ordered it. Of the quality we were disappointed and will not come back. Since there are several good reviews, perhaps there is a difference between private guests and the customer? During our 1 week stay in Zandt, it was the worst food in a local environment. We sat in the beer garden. Very friendly and fast operation. Had no problem with our dog. Food tastes great! PS: For football fans there is a separate room with beamer and giant picture.

Excellent food, cozy original chic host house, and especially the competent nice service staff Ha, Manuela, Mark and Flo, and the nice senior manager of the traditional and modern family business have made the evening special.The beautiful rural environment is enjoyed after a good breakfast and can then relax in the swimming pool. A well-run family hotel and restaurant. The very good service – five stars! I had a room in the outbuilding opposite the main building over the street. In the photos of the hotel you can see that make rooms are equipped and are already older. I got an old room that wouldn't bother me. What disturbed me was a crazy mattress on which I slept two next badly. The walls in my room also needed a new paint and in the bathroom you could also renew some joints. Since you can only evaluate the hotel and restaurant together I have done hard with the review. But because sleep is very important to me, I chose three stars. The restaurant hotel has good food!
