The staff at this restaurant are fantastic—super friendly, and the food is excellent. I dined in for dinner, and for around £30-40 per person, it was well worth it. Really good job at deco and ambience overall. We have all been there loads of times now and will keep coming back again. The only reason I wouldn’t give it 5 stars is that the service can become slow because they are regularly understaffed but I will have to say they are best compared to anyone else near by so we will have to keep them busy

Afternoon treat for me and my wife today despite the horrific weather. Hats off to the staff, as they'd sorted some issues and provided a great service. The burger and fish finger sandwich were outstanding. I've only given 4 stars not 5 as I was incredibly disappointed with the cheese board. £15 and we barely got enough cheese to make a butty... Plus no chutney!!. Didn't spoil the afternoon and we will definitely go back... But come on Gaslamp, sort the cheeseboard out!! This is a beautiful hidden gem in Rotherham. The ambiance is stylish and inviting, with comfortable seating and a lovely open-air dining area. The staff is incredibly friendly, always checking in with a smile, which really adds to the experience and makes you want to return or recommend it to others. I ordered the full vegan gaslamp for my wife, and we appreciated the generous portion sizes; for £9, it was a great value. My only minor criticism is that when we were invited inside, we were only given the option to sit outside or inside, and I would have preferred to choose, especially since the restaurant was quite empty.
