The garden won a prize as the best garden restaurant some years ago and it's not difficult understand the reasons..Really a quiet garden not so close to the town center is the best choice if you want to taste typical salzburger specialities in a wonderful place. Price are good: we took soups and two main dishes (try the salzbuger schnitzle, really good) and one of the best homemade kaiserschmarren (emperor's cake) i've ever eaten. Add big beer and small ones and a water bottle, totally spent euros. Maybe i'm used in my town, Rome, but this price is good for me. Definitevely a good choice."

"Kroatische Küche vom Feinsten Wer gerne gut isst, wird dieses Restaurant öfters besuchen, weil die Speisekarte viele hervorragende Schmankerl anbietet. Erfreulich, dass man auch das passende kroatische Bier serviert bekommt. Die Bedienung, immer mit einem freundlichen Schmäh. Einfach super! Update: Inzwischen waren wir einige Male beim kroatischen 'Eigenherr ' im Gastgarten. Immer haben wir bestens gespeist, auch heute."

"to stay at an air bnb in anif and tried this local food impressive. we had not booked, but were early, so they were in a position to fit us around 5.30 to be lovely before 7.30. wood paneling, open fire, tables on different levels....Prompt friendly service. we ordered suppen a pumpkin and a chicken noodle, both really good and a smoked salmon cake for beginners for the net we had the cattle burger, bratwurst and bark fillt and noodle. a local pilsner and a sauvignon from the steiermark were very good. the whole experience was wonderful. will be leaving."

"We had lunch there when we visited Schloss Hellbrunn. We wanted to save time, and the restaurant is conveniently located. The environment is nice, inside the courtyard of the castle. All the waiters were high school kids. There is nothing wrong with that, is not...that they were rude or anything, but the level of service that you get is ... Well, as you might expect from a teenager. The menu is modest, several meals, there is not a lot you can choose from. The food was just OK, but nothing more than that. All the time we fought with wasps that were flying around us and our plates. It might not be the restaurant's fault, but it was not a pleasant feeling anyway. As I said, if you are already in the Schloss Hellbrunn, this is a suitable place for the quick and simple lunch. But if you can, plan your visit so you have lunch somewhere else."
