"We had the pleasure of finally making it here for lunch today. We have been working flat out through April and needed a little treat which this wonderful establishment delivered hands down. Their welcome and customer service is beyond excellent. Nothing was too much...trouble. The food was delicious and prices reasonable. We felt valued and cared for every member of staff had time for all the customers and everything was delivered with a smile. The view; the ambiance and the menu is a winning combination. Thank you for a fantastic dining experience. "

"The clue is in the title, this is place that delivers on several fronts. Whether you're looking for brunch, lunch or dinner The Coast is a fantastic choice. Join them at any time during the day and your tastebuds will be delighted by the dishes available. Not that you have to eat. The bar space is a great place to stop for refreshment at any point during the day. The bar staff know how to serve a cracking cocktail too! The bar and dining room has a warm, chilled out vibe think bare bricks and wooden floors even when it's buzzy busy. A visit is made all the more enjoyable by super friendly front of house staff and a manager who knows how to keep customers coming back for more! It's a top spot in Cowes and not to be missed!"

"The atmosphere was lovely. Very relaxed with friendly attentive staff. Then the food came, good on the eye but underwhelming on the palate. I’ve both had the fish soup starter, rich in fish but devoid of flavour until we cracked salt and pepper until it, then it became a slightly acquired taste but pleasant enough. Main courses were smoked duck and rib-eye steak. The duck was tough and again devoid of flavour for done reason, best part of the plate were the carrots The steak was cooked as requested but the fries were hard. Some mustard helped with overall flavour. Dessert was crème brûlée and an orange/chocolate torte. Easily the best course of the evening, flavoursome, well presented if very sour fruit on crème brûlée. No wine was taken with the meal, but excellent water was served."

"Popped in to try, after reading your reviews. The pub is well situated, good parking, nice views. The staff were polite, friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is lovely, laid back, good music and comfortable lighting. We both decided on the chicken curry, although the menu offered a huge choice. The dishes were well presented, served with a poppadom, onion, and mango chutney. The curry was hot in temperature, and very moreish. We really didn't want to leave. Well done fantastic hospitality. Dietary restrictions: Wide choice available. Parking: Free parking."

"A party of us booked for Sunday lunch. Firstly we were told we couldn't go to the bar they'd come to us. 5 more of our party entered got served at the bar. Wrong drinks delivered to the table then wrong meals. Plate's were not cleared off the table, ordered desserts more drinks not 1 empty glass collected or dishes. Very poor service from the time of entering until leaving. Roast dinners was reheated, Yorkshire puddings like rubber. And to top it tryed to charge us for wrong items sent back and 2 extra roast dinners we didn't have. Apparently alot of locals around Gurnard have boycotted the place. Wonder why"
