"we did not find the menu here especially adventurous or innovatiw; it's more a place to come for highly competent cooking, maybe more from late 20. as 21st century. that is not a criticism: we enjoyed what we had a lot and it certainly needs to be skill to produce some of these dishes; the lamm en croute was made very fine. the weeping list is short, but well chosen, again without awakening very beginning. the location is good, the atmosphere is excellent, the personal enthusiastic and attentive and easily accessible. everyone around us enjoys immensely. the two rooms (the top floor less vivid than the bottom) seemed very hot, something recognized by the owner who tried to fix it. all in all, a pleasant evening at a fair price."

Pretty disorganised and appeared to have over booked. Food was OK but not as good as under the previous ownership.

We visited from the marina based on the online reviews. It was definitely worth the reviews. The scallops were definitely the best I have had for a long time. And both our mains we loved. We hadn’t planned to eat desert, we were full but...

New owners, clearly trying very hard but lots still to do. Started with four of us being offered a table that was at best about a metre square in size, certainly far too small for comfort. Menu difficult to read, specials on a separate board...

We have been frequenting Mojacs for years. This time, we were welcomed by Steph and her team instead of Helen and Mark, who had previously managed the restaurant. However, Steph was just as friendly and welcoming. The food, wine, and service were still excellent. The sea bass was cooked to perfection and delicious, and the homemade strawberry pavlova was the perfect ending to a great meal.

Very disappointed, we been here last month, we were really impressed by the menu, and the food, everything was delicious, so we decided to come back, but unfortunately we found another menu, which can be ok, but this time food was not good at all, after our dinner, reading reviews and website, we found out that the chef has changed too, we will never go back, we will not recommend it to anyone.

We took a chance on this little hidden away restaurant in the centre of Cowes and it paid off! Just reopened after a renovation, the staff were helpful and keen to please. They were also testing new menu items so we had some wonderful complimentary offerings and we were very fine with being guinea pigs! The portions were generous and the food was delicious we had the seared tuna and steak, as well as sides. Recommended.

We have been regulars at Mojacs for 20 years and have always enjoyed it. Unfortunately, the restaurant has changed hands and the new owners lack experience. They seem more suited to running second hand clothing shops, as their management style is intimidating. The service is poor and the food is subpar, with menu items resembling items found at a convenience store. Overall, this is the worst dining experience we have had in quite some time. It may be best to shut down before someone has a negative experience.

Upon arrival, we were a bit worried to see only two other tables occupied at 7:30 in the evening. Our initial table was near the door, but after requesting a different table, the staff seemed a bit overwhelmed before eventually accommodating our request. The menu was limited but had a good selection. We both chose the scallops starter, followed by sea bass for my wife and sirloin for myself. The food was delicious from start to finish. The service, however, was somewhat lacking. The staff appeared friendly but lacked confidence, which may have been due to inadequate training. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience.
