I had a fantastic Sunday roast, and there are plenty of other options to choose from. While it is a bit pricier than some places, the quality and portion size make it worth it. Service: 5/5 Location: 5/5.

I've eaten here 5 times. Including a holiday meal with colleagues a birthday celebration and most recently bottomless wings Wednesday. The food is quite lousy the service is non existent. When I have to keep getting up, going to the bar for anything needed, that's just silly. I've given it many chances but it's just too bad and I will not return. A Longleat safari trip to celebrate my Mother's and my Sister birthdays brought us to The George Inn. We found a treasure. Friendly staff, special mention to Izzie, who thoughtfully organised a potted plant and card for Mum's 95th birthday. Much appreciated, thank you. Their rooms are comfortable with a high standard of beds etc. Also, the best selection of hot drinks I have ever seen in a guest room. The bar area is welcoming and plenty of seating for a night cap. Breakfast offering was varied, we choose the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, delicious. Thank you all.

Charming 17th Century Inn. My room was delightful and exceptionally cozy. I found the bar service to be outstanding, and the atmosphere inviting. They offer a wonderful selection of ales, lagers, and cocktails, including Pimm's available by the glass or jug. Additionally, there's an impressive variety of coffees, such as lattes, cappuccinos, and espressos, along with a delicious hot chocolate option. The food was excellent, and the restaurant is quite popular. Notable features of the rooms include a state-of-the-art television, DAB clock radio, mobile phone charging pad, Nespresso machine, and kettle for tea. However, our recent experience left me with mixed feelings. We visited for lunch two weeks ago and were delighted to find chicken wings on the menu, complete with a variety of sauces.
