The restaurant environment in the evening was super quiet (we had the last reservation) and it was low lit, perfect for a romantic date night. Our evening meal itself was fabulous the ceviche of chalk Stream Trout starter (with caviar I think or something similar) was lovely, the chicken tikka (my partner's meal) was tasty and the medium rare Sirloin Steak was impeccable and nicely cooked. Compliments to the chef for this last minute order! "

The service was on point, the view was beautiful and the scones were the best I've ever had. Thank you so much for the warm welcome. My friends and I enjoyed the afternoon tea very much. Will definitely be visiting more often.

The waiter Giovanni is a credit to the hotel, so kind and attentive even though they were very busy the night we were dining! He did everything all by himself and was running around making sure everyone was happy and comfortable! A lovely man, also the food was delicious! Loved it!

This hotel and restaurant were fantastic from the moment we were warmly and efficiently welcomed at the front desk to the service and amazing quality of the food received in the restaurant. The only bad bit was the poor service received in the bar , 25 minutes for a drink and it wasn't even that busy. We had an executive room using Secret Escapes and had a lovely stay. Lovely hotel with beautiful view of the lake. We stayed there for one night stay on New Year’s Day. Very welcoming staff and the rooms were spacious. We dined in the Glaze restaurant and I must say that the food was absolutely delicious, service was second to none. before leaving the hotel we decided to go for afternoon tea and it was one of the best experiences we have had the view from the conservatory is breathtaking). We will definitely visit again.

I’ve been staying for a week for work and eaten here every evening. the food and service is lovely the barman Jonathon in particular was friendly, helpful and accommodating to such a big group of us I think the kitchen team were not used to serving a big group for bar food but they handled it well. I also booked a massage in the spa and can say this was excellent, very relaxing, removing all the tension from my shoulders after a long day of work I would recomend booking a treatment in advance as they do fill up fast!
