"I ignored the review I saw and went ahead as i believe everyone deserves a second chance. Horrible horrible experience, from the lady who picked my order over the phone extremely rude! Special fried rice was indeed a nightmare as it was so stale, salt and pepper chicken was like a bare fried chicken . Very tiny prawn complementary unlike other Chinese restaurants. General food taste is a 2/10. I was highly dissatisfied after spending £25. I recommend you try Panda Cuisine, their food and service is top top notch, great size and neatly presented."

This meal was amazing I highly recommend the corn crab soup and the duck was also delicious .

They have the best Singapore noodles, BBQ pork and vegetarian spring rolls. Service can be slow, but this is a family business, I think it’s important to support them. Reasonable price.

I’ve never posted a review before but I had to for this restaurant. I ordered the crispy shredded beef and there was absolutely no sight of beef whatsoever, as was completely filled with batter.

Unfortunately the food quality is very poor. Crispy duck was burnt beyond being edible, the noodle dish had no noodles in it. Nice ribs to be fair but I feel ripped off. I would avoid this restaurant.

Absolutely delightful service and delicious food. You can call ahead and pick up, or, as we did, just turn up. We have no hesitation in recommending the Golden House. It’s not trying to be fancy, but it’s blooming good.

Ordered for delivery food Was high quality fried items where definitely cooked in fresh oil sauce was not just flavoured sugar water portion size could be a bit bigger finished £60 meal with 3 people and still had space to eat desert but overall a good takeaway

Disappointing really. Not to sure how this place has 4 stars. Everything was really bland. The crispy shredded beef seemed like it didn’t even have any beef it in, it was just crispy batter. Very little meat in the rice and noodle dishes. Even the seaweed was poor… Overall I’m just really disappointed and feel ripped off
