Just finished chicken curry, rice and chips. Absolutely delicious. My all time favourite takeaway. Well done guys.

Ordered the duck spring rolls to start. No duck in them. In fact nothing really in them at all. Chicken curry as a main had very little chicken in it. This was one of my favourite restaurants but am so disappointed. Didn’t want to make a fuss as the staff and Keith are so nice.

This Chinese restaurant is a fantastic local gem that also allows you to bring your own alcohol. The service is friendly and quick, and the food is delicious and very reasonably priced. The early bird menu offers a great deal at £15.50 per person for two courses. Make sure to make a reservation in advance, as the restaurant is always busy and you may have to wait for a table. This used to be our go to chinese restaurant but over the years the taste of the food had slightly dwindled. The last time we were there was December 2021 and we were hoping that the food was going to be a lot better but we were sorely disappointed again, the food had no taste whatsoever, I’m sorry to say we will never be back. It really was/is that bad. Definitely new chefs needed and they need to taste the food they are serving.

We shared half a duck among three of us and the portion size was larger than other Chinese restaurants. I ordered the honey chilli chicken, which had a nice kick to it. My friends ordered the satay dish and beef szechuan, and both enjoyed their meals. The total bill came to £25 each, which was great value compared to other Chinese restaurants in town. Although there may be better options available at higher prices, the service was quick.

Love coming to this friendly, no frills BYO restaurant to have a meal and a nice bottle of wine. It 's a bit of an institution and for good reason: It 's great quality and great value when BYO is factored in. The staff are lovely and you just feel welcome. I 've kind of had it with the street food and overpriced franchises popping up in ballyhack. Sometimes you just want nice honest food and not have to hear about the Philosophy of the dishes as in other establishments.
