"This restaurant felt truly authentic. The setting included model ships, old shipping adverts .. overall very well themed seafood restaurant. The food we ordered was true to its original recipe. Backfisch, Original panfish, krabben burger... all tasted really good. An unexpected freshly baked potato wedges added to our delight. The variety of dishes served here is dwarfed only by the humongous number of fish species swimming in the baltic sea. What’s even great was! The live music!! It was a 2 man band who sang German songs to the tune of their guitar. Overall it was a memorable experience. I would recommend it to anyone visiting Rostock!"

Very cozy place with view on little sea canal. wonder fresh matjes filets. No service at table. long line for ordering.

Great spot to grab a glass of wine or a beer next to the harbour. Cozy patio with blankets and heat lamps provides for a cozy environment. The prices are reasonable. We also tried a smoked salmon sausage which was interesting

The food was good, not great It is a 100% self serve place. You walk up and order food and drinks and carry them back. No table service. There were heat lamps on the outside patio which made it lovely to sit outside on a chilly but beautiful evening
