Food was delicious, large cod and the regular cod were similar size. Very pricy for what you usually pay for some fish chips, we were served fast and didn’t have to wait long for our order. Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Food was nice, just everything was less of a portion than expected. Large chips were not much bigger than the small we ordered and the savaloys were also half the size. Rude young member of staff who threw down the chips on counter losing many chips from the chip butty which already had the smallest amount of chips of ever for a chip butty....wasnt value for money was still hungry so went across the road for another chip butty which was a little bit more expensive but got double the amount of chips so was well worth it. What can I say compared to Ken's fish and chips Grey's wipe the floor with them. The fish was that fresh I wasn't sure whether it had just been caught and the chips were beautifully nice and crisp and not swimming in grease as you get elsewhere . And yes I am local and I know I don't have fish and chips too often but for quality it can't be beat in the village 5 star Service: Take out

Absolutely brilliant and friendly service. Fantastic batter, including gluten free. Everytime we have gone it's been a brilliant service, a laugh with staff. Gluten free, freshly fried, a little wait, expected. Shame to see bad reviews over prices.
