"As part of a canoe tour we fed several people in the Käppeler Hof. As a Kanuwanderer appropriately dressed and coveted entry in the Käppeler Hof. We said we were eating, but only on the terrace, as all tables were reserved in the restaurant. I would like to say here that no one ate while we ate, entered the restaurant and we had 2:00 on our arrival. Probably the restaurant had expected a coffee company because when I went to the toilet, it was beautiful everywhere. On the terrace a double table was reserved half-sided, the waiter still relocated us because he wanted to keep the entire table free, even it was not needed during our time and then assigned two more persons. When ordering it could not go fast enough, the waiter was impatient. Carving with pommes, late zle with sauce and hay fenced frying. The late Zle did not taste all, the sauce did not bring any improvement. From the hectic roast there were 4 slices on the plate, that was a real part of the meat, because that was very saved on the very delicious vegetables. The meat was really top class, it was super delicate and delicious. The food was acceptable overall, the service of the house was not. When I paid for it, I rounded the amount by only €0.0, a mandatory thank you and a farewell fee were also included. Conclusion: Food acceptable. The ambience was rated negatively as we were not allowed to feed where we wanted. If we hadn't been on a canoe tour where it would have taken too long to the next restaurant, the restaurant visit would have been cancelled after the welcome. So you can't handle guests. So far I have also recommended the guests of the Käppeler Hof for overnight stays, under these circumstances I can no longer make a recommendation."
