Paula and Marie were friendly, helpful staff. The food was piping hot amd tasty. Good solid pub grub. Will visit again when on the island. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Good atmosphere, very clean. Wide choice of food. Food was amazing. Fantastic service our server, Paula, couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. Would definitely recommend a visit.

My family and I came here to celebrate a birthday. We ordered our meals without any issues. However, 20 minutes later, a staff member approached us and informed us that they were unable to locate one of the dishes.

I just want to congratulate the team at this wonderful pub for a fantastic evening. Everything from the food to the atmosphere was impressive, and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Thank you, and we look forward to returning soon.

Had a wonderful dining experience at this charming pub. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, and the atmosphere was welcoming. The staff, particularly Paula and Ross, were exceptional - friendly, attentive, and kind. Ross even made us a fantastic Irish coffee to finish off our meal. We will definitely be returning in the future!

On holiday…Noticed the pub whilst driving by. Stopped for food. Had the Camembert sharer platter and a steak and cheese melt baguette. All food was lovely but particularly enjoyed Camembert. So good we came back the next afternoon for the Camembert platter again! All staff both days were polite and helpful. Chanice served us on the Sunday

Passed this pub every year we visit isle wight never been in This year we gave it a try had most beautiful Sunday lunch puddings we’re excellent we loved it so much we went back in week and had pub classic which was also excellent Staff were really friendly our dog was allowed in .prices were reasonable Will definitely visit again next year when we go

It had been a few years since our last visit to this pub so we thought we would see if it had improved. Unfortunately it was worse! We went as it was my Mum’s 92nd birthday. When we arrived all the seats were torn with the stuffing showing, we probably should have left then. I ordered a Shandy which was cloudy so I asked for a replacement, at first the waitress just stood looking at it but then got a fresh one which was better. Some of the food was ok but not worth the prices asked. When my Husband finished his coke there was something black in the bottom of the glass. The whole visit was a disappointment.

We went here as it had some great GF options listed including a pie which never happens. I don't know if it's because it was a weekday or not but there was only one chef on and we waited an hr for our food to arrive. We kept being told we arr next and it's being plated up. I am disappointed that there was no indication on arrival that there were delays to the service which leads me to think this is standard. We didn't have dessert as we were originally planning as we didn't want to wait another hour for that. My partner who had the GF pie later had a major stomach upset throughout the night and most of the next day. I imagine this could be because the lone chef was under a lot of pressure. I...
