Discovered this by chance whilst travelling from Liverpool. Warm atmosphere, warm staff, decent selection of beer. Will come again.

We ordered take-out last night and it was fantastic. The food was delicious and the cheesecake was incredibly tasty. Ordering was incredibly easy and Vicky was very helpful. We will definitely be getting take-out from here again.

Last night, we went out for a birthday celebration. The staff at the restaurant were very friendly and welcoming to all guests. They had all necessary Covid-19 precautions in place, such as spaced out tables. We felt very safe and impressed by their efforts. We will definitely be returning in the future.

Friends of Slaidburn School (FOSS) would like to thank the Hark to Bounty for letting us have the proceeds of the quiz and inviting us to have a raffle at the end. It was a brilliant night, everyone loved the quiz and you helped raise an amazing £261 which will go towards school equipment and school trips. A special thankyou to Vicky Mangement Team for all their help! No doubt we will all see you soon, Have a happy new year. Also its a brilliant local pub.

a special employee ruined our visit in the pub. she made us feel very comfortable and made our experience quite tense. she has actually locked up in our accommodation, opposite the pub to inform us that we were late (what we were not). then went on to talk to us about smaller booking details. the seating order was not set up for our group before the arrival, despite booking months in advance. we were reluctant to write this review because the rest of our experience was acceptable, but after the night we felt it was necessary. we were originally meant to eat two nights in a row, but the second night canceled because of the deep experience. some of the parties returned in the following night a...
