"Not been here for a few months and understand why we stopped going. Breakfast was overdone, they laced the mushrooms and tomato with lots of pepper, unlimited toast has gone and now £1 extra per toast, paid for unlimited tea and had to go up to bar to get it replaced due to staff was over run. The place is starting to look tired, chairs are starting to fall apart and the outside is looking a mess. Looks like we won't be going back im afraid to say where we used to be a regular last year."

we had a family dinner here and the staff was very attentive to our disabled son. the service was sometimes slow, but new covidence measures could have an impact on it. recommend the burgers and ribs.

Wonderful breakfast as always this morning and excellent service by Tasha. I've been coming to harvester for a good while now for breakfast and the food and service has always been fabulous. Tasha will go out of her way to make sure you are 100% happy with everything.

First time back here in nigh on 10 years as it wasn't good at all back then... However, things have massively improved.. Food choice was so so much better this time. Staff were excellent and attentive. All round a really good meal that we both enjoyed. We shall be back again soon for sure.

We came for breakfast with 3 children. The kids loved their pancakes and they let us exchange chocolate for syrup on one. We ordered the steak and hash browns, which was good but the steak a little tough in parts. The server Elle, was lovely and friendly and service was quick. Overall we had a nice brunch! Food was lovely 2 of the extra large mix grills, for big eaters very tasty but they struggled. Turf, surf and bird decent size portion but chicken was a bit too spicy for me. Salad bar was served to you but as always nice and fresh. Drinks 2 double gin and tonics and a pint of carling just over £18.00. Lovely meal, staff very helpful, but restaurant was cold. Would go back but taking a jacket next time.

We often come to Harvester Atherleigh and always usually have a good experience, today was no exception and an opportunity to sample this year’s festive menu. Today was made even better by the attentive and genuine service from Beth. Beth made sure everything was perfect without being intrusive, she was knowledgeable and really made an effort with meaningful conversation whilst checking in with us. Thanks Beth.

"After reading the reviews we was really looking forward to eating here ,however it turned out to be the worst tapas and worst service we have ever received . After waiting 10 minutes for someone to take our drinks order we then waited a further 30 mins to be served with what can only be described as toast with tasteless mushed up tomatoes on , this was inedible and hardly touched , a further 20 minutes on and we was served a single dish of chicken between two of us again this was very bland and resembled nothing like a original tapas dish more like a chicken korma again this was hardly touched . When I enquired as to where the rest of the food was I was told they was very busy . With this we decided to cut our loses and asked for the bill . Before leaving we tried to have a conversation with the manager who is also the chef to give some honest feedback ,however he wasn’t open to listening , he’s response was “it’s normal in a tapas restaurant to receive one dish at a time between two with a large gap between dishes wasn’t it explained to you that’s what tapas is “We felt this was a very patronising remark as we eat tapas on a regular basis and know this is definitely not the case . To matters worse there was people who came in after us with multiple plates and tucking in nicely to their meals . The manager who was obviously struggling to cope on a busy Saturday night should have just apologised and admitted our order had been overlooked . If you are looking for authentic Tapas with excellent service in Wigan go to Casa Carlos this place doesn’t deserve your hard earned money ."
