we all enjoyed this small restaurant, the carving with dozens of different pads served. delicate and tasty, served with salad and pommes frites.

In fact we were there for the first and last time! The schnitzels that are so highly praised are ready-made and taste like fat, the salad is not fresh, ready-made, and the fries were counted out! Never again Visualizza piatti

we honestly hoped a little more of this restaurant. the aperol (incl. lemon slice!) which was served me really had nothing to do with an aperol!I had the carving with garlic sauce. it was okay but with the huge selection you get to the groan as cooked here. added that the chef feels every 10 minutes through the restaurant ran to smoke in front of the door. does not make the best impression on guests.

this is a carving restaurant at the river. they have many kinds of carving. we have the mushroom carving and the spasm carving. There are various beers, weeping and drinks. the service is nice. but I didn't like the ventilation inside. 2 carvings 1 beer, 1 water and 1 fanta 32 eur :) by the way, as in many restaurants in Germany, there are also tax and service supplements. . they open the tables outside not for the service when it can rain. .

typical German speciality with a unique variety for every palate. after 90 kilometers of cycling is something filling and tasty never far out of the head. Even though they don't serve water, the service was excellent, fast and efficient. the carving house offers over 100 different types of carving, so they have to try another one each time. all carvings are served with salat as an appetizer and then pommes or late zle. it was so delicious that we came back in our 5 nights 3 times. highly recommended! After we traveled six weeks through Germany, we had our last dinner of the trip here. we had decided that we wanted carving for our last night, and this seemed to be the perfect place with over 100 different carvings. we are so glad that we decided to do so, because the carvings were delicious. my man chose his favorite carving - carving with pfeffer sauce, and I chose a new carving with ham, cheese and pineapple. Both were very delicious. they were served with pommes fries and salat and the prices were very reasonable. we really enjoyed German eating and this was a perfect conclusion of our trip.

we had an open evening on our trip and decided to dare a meal. we have walked through heidelberg and stumbled over this place. the carving was just amazing. the best I ever had and certainly better than elsewhere in Germany we have eaten carving. I was there with my son (13) and he swallowed the pommes. he said they were better than other pommes he had on his way. If I ever come back to heidelberg, I will definitely eat here at least once. only harder part: I found out after eating that they only take cash. I had to run to a cash machine to get something out! So they take cash, but don't miss it - eating here is fantastic.

we were close and our host recommended to try this place for a good carving. everything went well until we picked up a bottle of water we had worn and the owner was upset. he told us that we had to get rid of the bottle right away and that we could not do that as if it were for us to be self-evident, but it was our first in Germany and we were tourist. he could have explained it a lot more nicely. we felt uncomfortable and left an acidic taste in our mouth. eating seemed to be in order, but I wish I had read the other reviews. it seems that this is a bad restaurant for foreign tourists, although it is located in front of a bus stop and next to the tourist information center.
