"this place will be the reason why my doctor finds out, I have high cholesterin! ineffective when I came in! my mother was just pulled after hemsby and on the day we needed a meal and fast! I went in the chippy and first I could smell bark drops, now when someone knows about drops and chips this is the absolute elite level away to cook them! I opened it to the house and the taste and smell was as I expected, I was in the sky! I will find it really hard to stay away from this place, now I will visit himmsby more regularly! I also want to add that the muddy peas are correct muddy peas not the watered mash they come around london! keep them the excellent work, I will see them and their bark drops chips very soon!"

Beef dripping used instead of oil for frying. This is a deal breaker for me as a pescatarian and would also affect those who don’t eat beef for religious reasons.

cod was nice and cooked to order chips a little dry, but it is the end of the season and we will soon be new kartoffels, would recommend ordering by phone on a Friday.

The fish and chips were so good that we went back two years in a row whilst on holiday in the area. Portions very large and fish exceedingly fresh. Will definitely be back.

Called in Thu June after looking at trip advisor. Ordered haddock chips, to eat now, staff very friendly. Massive fish very crispy and tasty. Would buy again if ever down this way

Heard that this was one of the local favourites for fish and chips and it didn’t disappoint. Cheeky lunchtime snack was thoroughly enjoyed. They even gave us a bag of scraps! Value for money, polite and friendly service, glad we stopped by.

I very rarely eat fish and chips but my Mum and I spent a few days in Norfolk and she loves fish and chips so we went and got some from here! Oh my word! These are the most amazing fish and chips I've had in many, many years! It's a good job I don't live nearby otherwise I'd be eating these far too often! The chips were SO tasty and the batter on the fish was absolute perfection (as was the fish itself). Delicious!

Went here whilst on holiday and glad we did. My son has an egg allergy and after trying two other local take outs we found this one, and thankfully their batter does NOT contain egg. Staff were very helpful, checking ingredients for us and even showing us portion sizes so we could decide what to buy. We had cod, chips, mushy peas, curry sauce and gravy, let's just say there was nothing left on our plates, very enjoyable. It's worth noting that they only accept cash, as per signage. Good price too, cheaper than I expected it to be. Thank you for your help and the delicious food.
