correct restaurant: it is a filiale by thamers that is located in the same house above. the food is quite good, the price is fair and the service is good and friendly, the atmosphere is less lively than in the thamer that fills up first. worth a visit.

this place was very busy and so it made it a bit convincing by a German friend to get us a table. the place is very charming old, but warm and comfortable. eating was typical German farewell and the staff was helpful to explain what it was for us. eating was delicious and served fast enough. the price was very good and the personal friendly. a beautiful place I would like to try again.

we visited the restaurant at our first evening in hamburg after we had read the previous reviews here. it certainly did not disappoint. the food was excellent and very cheap. the staff was friendly and helpful - make sure that they ask for the menu when needed in English, as the woman who served us seemed pretty worried that she had insulted us with the German menu. really satisfied with our visit and would come back. highly recommended.

my man and I had dinner here at our first night in hamburg. it was very comfortable for us, so we thought we would try. we went in thämers, but there were no seats. the bartender recommended to go down and said that they use the same kitchen. my man has kartoffel soup and an salat with huh. I ate a chicken sandwich with roasted potatoes. combined with a good beer, it was the perfect meal for our first night in our new city. the restaurant is cozy and our waitress was very helpful!
