"It takes a lot for me to write a review, but today is the day.... Unfortunately, the Höhwald in Klosters is no longer what it used to be. We were looking forward to a nice evening and were massively disappointed. The old boss had already made the reservation wrong, then served us with nasty looks. The appetizer was still ok. The Wienerschnitzel is unfortunately only average and the tartar was tasteless and a bit long in the mixer... When we wanted to order a dessert, we were told that there is no more time, the other guests are coming. So after 45 minutes we paid CHF 243 (2 adults, 2 children) and will never come again. Very sad, all our good memories of this restaurant were erased today"

Sehr leckeres Essen super Service und nettes Ambiente. Gerne wieder. Wir können das Gasthaus nur empfehlen. Sollche Gastronomen dürfte es mehr geben. Macht weiter so.

Super Location, Super Essen und Super freundlichkeit. Dazu tolle Weine...Was will man mehr? Ich komme immer gerne hier und kann ich jede empfehlen.Ps: der Prosecco von Albino Armani schmeckt auch fantastisch

Very cozy interior with a fireplace and everything in wood, and delicious food. Try their homemade bread (you can buy it as well to take back home), and don't miss out on their fantastic Kaiserschmarren. A must go to when in Klosters!

Höhwald is excellent fine dining in a traditional and welcoming atmosphere. The fireplace in the center of this charming and well designed gem brings about the coziness you'd expect from an alpine retreat. The food is delicious and well curated. It's definitely worth a visit when in Klosters.

Bei wunderschöner Atmosphäre durften wir ein Überraschungsmenu mit Weinbegleitung geniessen.Ein sehr sympatischer und aufmerksamer Service begleitete uns durch den Abend.In Höhwald werden Regionale Produkte werden verwendet was wir sehr begrüssen. Es war ein traumhafter Genuss bei euch Gast zu sein.ein herzliches dankeschön an das ganze Team.

Wir hatten am vergangenen Freitag ein wunderbares Erlebnis im Gasthaus Höhwald. In der liebevoll eingerichteten Gaststube, einem lodernden Kaminfeuer in der Mitte von dieser, einer sehr freundlichen Bedienung und viel spürbarem Herzblut fühlten wir uns an diesem Ort sehr wohl. Hinzu kam das herrliche und saisonale Essen. Für uns gab es ein sehr leckeres Hirschpfeffer- und entrecôte. Wir können das Gasthaus somit nur wärmstens empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder, wenn wir in der Nähe sind!

Unser Hochzeitsfest mit Abendessen durften wir im wunderschönen Gasthaus Höhwald geniessen. Die Flexibilität, super rundum Service , grandioses Essen, wundervolle Dekorationen, grossartige Organisation und und und sind unbeschreiblich und Weltklasse, gemäss unserem Geschmack und auch gemäss den Rückmeldungen der Gäste, es war WELTKLASSE UND ZAUBERHAFT!!!!! DANKE VON HERZENDas essen ist Hervorragend!! Es lohnt sich auf jeden Fall dort ein gemütliches und romantisches Abendessen zu geniessen!!Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und sehr freundlich!Wir gehen immer wieder gerne, sehr zu empfehlen!!

Oh my god, a very small ball of ice that melted before I had a chance to eat and a very small mousse of chocolate for 22 CHF !!! . I don't think there are more expensive deserts for what you get in Switzerland than this one, it was so small that we finished in 2 min. I asked if there was perhaps a mistake made, but no. Highly suggest to indicate on the menu what you will get very small delecacy food instead of a portion that justifies the price , as many customer ordering this desert will feel ripped-off as expectations will not be met. Even if the quality is excellent which it was , it is all about expectations. A pity I didn't take a photo, this would be more convincing than my words.
