Hogarth Inn - Menu

Fantastic food, fantastic service, fantastic value for money. I was blown away how good the Hogarth Inn is.

Very much a locals pub, walked in with my missus, it went quiet. Fortunately it was a warm afternoon, so we took our drinks outside

Currently October 2022 the pub is serving drinks only no food. I believe it us up for sale. Worth checking before banking on it being open!

All staff friendly and a lovely atmosphere but was lacking any food in the redundant restaurant ,so much more could be made with this pub the only one in the village but the great locals still make it a friendly place to drink.

I popped in here for a coke on my Thames Path walk and to charge my phone. The proprietor was super nice, helpful and accommodating. The pub has a 500 year history as well which is cool. It's a real pub with locals relaxing over a pint, and I enjoyed the ambience.

Arrived, it was Dark, heavy smell of cigarettes, not a friendly welcome, empty pub. THEY DO NOT SERVE FOOD. Asked why the sign says Hot Home Cooked Food. The snarled reply was It 's an Old Sign After lockdown I would have thought they would be trying harder to reclaim lost custom.

Really old traditional pub with beams and large wooden entrance door, could do with a tidy up looks worn out. Friendly landlady and people ok, bar staff not much to say really just regulars in there I think. Will let you take your dog in and very good prices for drinks but no food.

Went here on the back of reading all the glowing reports on trip advisor and I have to say I am really let down.. I am a lone traveller so it takes a lot for me to walk into a pub on my own and the welcome I got was anything but friendly. I went into the ‘quiet’ side of the pub and waited patiently for the staff to serve me. Having gone in the pub for dinner after a long day travelling I was greeted by a less than happy face Which instantly put me on the back foot! when I asked politely if they were serving food I got a very abrupt ‘no’ with no explanation. I asked why and was told in a very curt and rude manner that there was no chef. With that I turned around and left the pub immediately....

Certainly one of the most popular hotels I stayed in the UK during my time! Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff and general manager, our names were mentioned on board and we were updated to the Paradise Suite. The staff was very friendly, the restaurant was very flexible (to observe this! and the restaurant manager deserves a special thanks. We had two great evenings here that were of course added to the experience. On the second day we made a village trekking. I really enjoyed running the three of us through the village.
