"Amazing!......I was mesmerized by this place before we ever got in! the night outside is enchanting; beautifully illuminated terraces and terraces directly at the river! as soon as they are in the door are the combination of cushion ceilings and dimming lights that reflect in the sparkling crystal. glassware was very picturesque! we have been offered the opportunity to choose their candlelight speciality (a five-course meal with preset options) or order ala carte; we decided later. in contrast to many restaurants we were in this opposite, they offer a sweet white wine. after the start with a bowl of excellent lobster bisque (gart with a huge lobster roll), the filet of my manne was made perfect on order, and my scallops and prawns with risotto were amazing. the server wore white gloves to present our food. our primary server (susan) spoke English and was very accommodating! as if I needed a little more to love this place, the live piano music began; I'm not sure if that's a night feature or just at the weekend, but it was just another element of the class! because of its romantic environment, I guess that this is more an evening meal for couples (in contrast to families); this probably explains why we could not get reservations on Valentine's Day even ten days outside! I have seen a few large private rooms so I guess they can accommodate large groups. we stay in the regular in the wall in amberg because there are so many great restaurants to explore within the city center, but this was a short trip (approximately a mile) and an extraordinary discovery. we will definitely return! I would give them an excellent rating in any category!"

Went there for a dinner party. The food was basic. I expected more from such a beautiful hotel. I would still take people here to impress them because it is a stunning location.

Some distance away from the town centre of Amberg, on the river side. Location is very quiet and the setting is very nice too. Food is excellent with good collection of beer and wines. They also have accommodation here. Good choice if the distance is...ok with you.

We went to this restaurant while travelling on the Motorway close bye. It was the best choice we ever took. Nice terrace, very good food, nice employees and a small playground next to the terrace. The restaurant is definitely also good for a nice dinner...on special occasions. I will come back when I ever come again to Amberg.

we were there in the evening after a long days work. We needed to do some more work and the extremely attentive staff offered an extra room for us. How nice. The food was excellent. I had white asparagus with a freshly made hollandaise sauce....It was spot on and very delicious. We even got an amuse bouche Desert Creme Bavaroise was perfect too. I really like this place. Not too much fuss, but perfect quality.

this hotel is completely free, but worth a trip! it has a really nice design - damaging breakfast and a really beautiful opposite around it. the only part that was negatiw was that the hotel only got new Wi-Fi setups. that led to the internet being really ashamed and went up and down all the time. so it was quite difficult to work on the basis of the wlans. I use the Wi-Fi from my handy not worked either because this place is a bit out and the connection is bad
