"I ate at many nice restaurants while in Garmisch and Oberammergau, but this was the nicest. I can't say whether or not Husar has ever had a Michelin star, but it must be right on the edge now. The house itself is very beautiful. Inside, it is immaculately decorated, and all of the tables perfectly set with crisp white linens. The service is perfect: The wait staff show up just as you are thinking about thinking about something! Water and wine poured just before you notice you need some more. The food is stellar. I had a filet of John Dory which was a special that day. As I've previously mentioned in other reviews, I eat this type of dish a lot. This one was made to perfection. Be prepared to spend quite a bit of money in exchange for the excellent food and service.I would say that this is not the right place for small children. We often bring our 4-yr-old to pretty nice dinner locations with us, but I don't think he would have fit in here at all. On this note, I don't think that the restaurant recommends a dress code, but if you show up in jeans and tennis shoes, you will feel quite underdressed. I wore nice trousers and a button-down shirt, and it was on the low-end of what other diners were wearing."

Zum zweiten Mal ein großartiges Erlebnis! Ambiente, Service, Weinangebot top. Die beste Fischsuppe, die ich seit Jahren gegessen habe. Für die Leistung ist der höhere Preis absolut gerechtfertigt.

Ужинали сегодня в этом заведении. Столик бронировали заранее. Есть, стоп лист, что огарчило! Не всё так промто с винной картой! Для любителей, как минимум рисервы будет не из чего выбрать! Есть значок гида мишлен 2017 годи, ну или 16...блюда хорошие...обслуживание иногда подтормаживает и они сами знают в чём! Вечер провели хорошо, но 5 поставить не можем! С заявленной заведением планкой это максимум 4!

Selbst meine Gäste aus Köln und Düsseldorf, die ich in den Husar eingeladen habe, und die bundesweit oft und gut essen gehen, kamen zu dem Urteil: Klasse Essen, gute Weine, guter Service, authentische Atmosphäre und gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Die Speisekarte ist umfangreich genug, um alle Geschmäcker zu treffen und alles, was ich schon probiert habe -und das ist fast alles- stimmt im Geschmack, Qualität, Quantität und vom visuellen her. Alles auf den Punkt wie gewünscht, frisch, heiß und ausgesprochen lecker. Die Weinkarte ist super und die gelegentlichen Weinproben legendär.

Vor einigen Jahren waren wir schon einmal dort. Damals mehr rein zufällig. Dieses Mal sehr bewusst, denn es hatte uns damals schon richtig gut gefallen.Auf der Rückreise aus einem Kurzurlaub machten wir noch stopp in Garmisch und reservierten schon von unterwegs im Husar einen Tisch. Sehr aufmerksames Personal, so wie hervorragendes Essen, erfüllten vollends unsere Erwartungen, Nach unterschiedlichen Vorspeisen, assen wir dann beide den Rehrücken vom Maibock und erlebten ein wirkliches Geschmackserlebnis, Auch die Weinauswahl ist sehr gut. Absolute empfehlenswert und bei der nächsten Durchreise werden wir mit Sicherheit hier wieder zum Essen gehen.

Deserves without any hesitation its reputation as the best restaurant in Garmisch. The setting is unique and rather stunning. Very professional and attentive welcome from the management, who are very flexible (agreed to have us arrive late, after a concert at the Festival, and to keep the kitchen open until we arrived) and friendly. Very nice service, the right mix between attentive and discrete; the manager is willing to engage in conversation and forthcoming with advice. The food is extremely good and very plentiful, with high-quality local ingredients (I recommend the Pfifferlingen). I couldn't recommend it more. Try and get a table outside on a Summer day, to gaze at the beautiful facade...

We were at the Husar last Saturday, a warm evening in May. We sat outside, which was lovely, but the interior is even more special. The service was polite and friendly. I had the beef filet which was almost perfect, perhaps slightly overdone, but really delicious and served with a perfect cognac sauce, dauphinoise potatoes and salad. I added a nice Chianti, served in an incredibly large wine glass, so fun. The wine list, by the bottle, was limited, but still a nice selection of open wines. Highly recommend this charming restaurant. The prices are higher than other local places, but the offerings are not the usual, and quite special. The interior is so lovely, it would be a joy to sit inside...

Have been here to celebrate the wedding anniversary with my wife. The ambiance is definitely appropriate for such a romantic event. The reception was also very friendly like the service throughout the evening, even though a bit slow when it comes to serving he food.Another positive is the wine list which covers all the important wine regions and most of the best winemakers in Germany with interesting additions from Austria, Italy and France at ok prices.Now to the food, the Baerlauch both in soup and risotto was considered a bit too salty by my wife and the asparagus a bit over cooked, however the ingredients were excellent and generally the food was above average even though quite pricey fo...

"The title “Lifestyle Restaurant” that offers a huge amount of interpretation space seems to be high in the course of Garmisch Partenkirchen, in addition to the recently-reviewed “4Eck” also boasts the “Bungalow 7” of this stretchable attribute on its website. Lifestyle, tja, if you want to, every restaurant is a “lifestyle restaurant” or? Whether the Pommesbude or the Three Stars Temple, everything is finally expression of life type and preferences, across all kitchens and purses, I therefore find the term inconceivable hollow, nothing-giving and superfluous. But that was not the reason why we were staying in the evening of our arrival instead of in the “Lifestyle Location” illuminated here – Obacht’s actual plan – rather Bajuwarian way of life in my beloved Bräustüberl, the anticipation of pancake soup Co. was simply too great. But the next noon, after a first stroll through the place, we should land more or less randomly here, which should certainly be a pleasure for further visits and we should also do so on the following Sunday – so today there is a criticism of two visits. But the day should start very happy, it was my birthday and in the breakfast room there was a lovingly decorated table waiting for me, and I was also covered with a delicious pastries of an excellent local confectionery that reminds me of the legendary Kosaken ridge – the lovingly guided small hotels live in family hands! The Kosakenzipfel : The rich breakfast and the not even light confectioner's work were a good basis for the day, but after the mentioned bumblebee, the famous "small hunger" should be reported at about 2 p.m. 1. Visit outside view The bungalow7 was there in the immediate vicinity, made an inviting impression from outside, the map was pleased, short-closed we entered and found a quiet corner table. What looks from the outside gives a quite harmonious look with the contemporary outdoor furniture and the inviting glass front, sometimes seems skurril on the inside when viewed closer. Whether and how criticism is passed on is sometimes very questionable, but here I was randomly witnessing this passing when I returned from the – remarkably clean – toilet in the basement, where I was wearing war marks after the finger food battle (self-equivocally my bright pants carried away fighting marks.... wash your hands. The way led past the kitchen, the door half open: waiter: “Gast was very satisfied, the Buffalo Sauce praised very much, but he didn’t expect any cucumbers to come in USA always carrots and celery.” Koch: “Yes, too, but we had...” (Rest went down in the kitchen noise and I didn’t want to listen... Maybe the sentence ended with “grade no longer there!” you don’t know, at least I was happy to share feedback here, that was nice. Satisfactions we paid cash and devoted ourselves more sweetheart, here I would like to go again, so much was fixed. 2. Visit At the second time, we have also been given the honour of being at the table with her clique for decades with Mrs and Mr. Obacht's Sunday dinner that has been maintained for decades. It was a wonderful, lukewarm summer evening after a hot day, in the late afternoon I still enjoyed in the – surprisingly little visited Alpspitzbad, we made our way to the restaurant, which was extremely well visited – only good that we had reserved a large table in the garden.
