Indian Lounge - Piatti

This is now my 'goto ' restaurant in Birmingham for Indian food. I 've eaten several times here during the weekend and cannot fault the service or food. Would highly recommend.

Me and my family had a meal at the Indian lounge tonight we all had a excellent meal the waiter Josh gave us 5 stair service all the staff are excellent at the Indian lounge and the food is always great.

I would say this place is average. Staying for the night in York we decided to go to this curry place. The food was ok but everything was rushed. If you put your knife and fork down for a minute to digest the food they would come over and say are we finished. Although the setting of the place was lovely. A nice candle on the time and the drinks were nice. Would we come again, maybe not. Visualizza piatti

I live locally and of the abundance of Indian restaurants in Coleshill the Indian Lounge has always been the best, until now. Have to say that the take away delivered tonight was one of the worst things I’ve ever dished up, cold, bland, I’m no cook but I honestly think I could have done better myself and wished I’d tried, I’ll be going elsewhere in future and would recommend you do too.

Staying down the road from here for Motorcycle Live at the NEC, what can we say? Absolutely fabulous place. Food is amazing to the point it's the nest ever Lamb Biriyani my partner has ever eaten! As for me it was so nice to find a place where you can get just a plain chicken curry and yes you've guessed it, it was to die for also. We will definitely be dining here again when we're back in the area without a doubt. So if you're in the area go see these guys.

I had been here often in the past and was very pleased with the food. I visited recently and it was terrible. Food just a stodgy unpalatable mess, not that hot, served on an ice cold plate, I complained as soon as it was put on the table. It was taken away quote to be put in the microwave for a couple of mins. The chicken in the meal was like pre cooked processed (grey in colour), the one king prawn was inedible, the remainder of the meal was very gritty and salty. Would never go back again. Have been here a couple of times this year and both times they have got the orders wrong I asked for prawn pathia and got prawn bhuna we asked for onion bhajee for a starter and asked for it to come out before the mains did it? No it came out after the mains they got the drinks order wrong again There are too many of them trying to serve one table the first time it happened It happened I thought well we all make mistakes but this time the same mistakes would I go here again ? No there are better Indian restaurants on the high street

Eaten here many times, however this was the first time post lockdown. Firstly I must state that the food quality is high. Dining relatively early on a Saturday evening, was surprised how busy the restaurant was, but it was good to see. Tables were as closely situated as pre-pandemic and the service was very slow and I noted tables being served who had been seated long after ours. We waited over an hour for our food, with another lengthy wait for the bill. Whilst it is heartening to see this popular restaurant doing such good business the volume generated by the closely packed tables and slow service resulted in this being poor overall experience.

We went to the Indian Lounge last night. We have been there several times before and never had a bad experience. However, last night was different. My kids had come from London and fancied a meal out so I suggested this place (I really wish I hadn't). We ordered starters and my son had chicken 65. When it came, it was nothing like a chicken 65 we have had this dish before several times. It was a mush of something in what looked like an Uncle Ben's sauce. When he tried it, he said it tasted like really old chicken. It was hard and chewy. He never complains about food but this time he told the waiter what he thought about the dish.
