Outstanding! Plenty of well groomed, well dressed staff serving really lovely food in a warm and well decorated restaurant. A really pleasant experience, way above any other local restaurant that we have tried.

I have just had the most amazing food I have ever tasted (better than the gourmet hotels I've stayed in and the Walnut Tree). Can't wait to go back! Beetroot Wellington was delicious. Veg was fantastic. Desert was equally good. Highly recommend this place.

Absolutely amazing! The food was fantastic and diverse, with every meal we ordered being outstanding. The service was impeccable, and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend trying the rarebit and lamb dishes. If you're looking for a great dinner at a reasonable price, this is the place to go.

This beautiful restaurant has it all, a cosy and warm welcome and the best food you could wish to have anywhere! Visited for the Christmas Lunch and it was the most delicious and generous top quality food I have had in any restaurant. What an absolute gem of a place. Cannot recommend enough. I highly recommend this restaurant. We celebrated my husband's birthday in the private room available at the pub. The food was wonderful and stylishly presented. The menus offer a variety of options to cater to all tastes. The owner was very hospitable and even opened up in the afternoon so we could decorate the room. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated with a charming Welsh theme. Thank you once again.

Went as a party of 8 for retired ladies Christmas party, this was the second year running and the food was yet again amazing, as was the service! Can't fault any of the delicious food and I've been reliving eating it every day since and can't wait to go back...beautiful slow cooked beef was something to die for, compliments indeed to the chef! All the party enjoyed their meals immensely. My only very minor gripe was that we found it chilly this year having been spoilt by a freestanding space heater last year which was so welcoming! But this didn't warrant losing any stars, delightful! Well done and thank you x

Great restaurant, staff, food and ambience. We had a works 'do ' there, 26 of us and the food was wonderful, we all ate together and the staff were wonderful, nothing too much trouble. The food was amazing I had turkey which was succulent and tasty with no fat at all I 'm not a big fan of turkey either, but this was lovely); the traditional Christmas veg were cooked to perfection, tasty and plentiful; both starter and dessert prawn salmon cocktail and 3 cheesecake dessert) were gorgeous. I 've eaten in 'posh ' and expensive restaurants but this is the best I have had anywhere, especially for the price £30.00 for 3 course Christmas menu, can 't fault that at all!
