It looks like it’s in someone’s house not your usual looking Chip shop. But coming from the Midlands where we think ours are the best I have to say the staff were so friendly and the Fish and Chips were mouthwatering. Big portions and three Fish and Chips came to around £21. Best I’ve eaten in a long while . If your in Okehampton check this establishment out."

Lovely fish and chips. Ate in at take-out price. There isn't a loo, but there are public loos and ones in nearby establishments.

visit on holiday, very busy with locals who are always a good sign. on Saturday at 7:15 o'clock in operation, and the service was quick and freshly cooked to order. decent part and good to see fish sustainable line caught

while on vacation, had chips and meal times twice in this wonderful chippy with inside seat. fantastic staff dedicated to the community with delicious food! many thanks for a wonderful experience and nice eating! on another 27 years.

Live locally, but hadn't been to Kempleys for many years. Really glad i returned. Batter is light and not at all greasy, and the large cod was perfectly cooked. Chips were crispy but fluffy inside. Overall this is really good fish and chips.

on a cold januar Saturday afternoon for cod and chips and a coffee immersed. was pleasantly surprised to find out that they eat-in for no extra cost that was most welcome in consideration of the cold evening. good food and service and the feed-in option is a good idea.

Went to this Chippy based on good reviews given. They were right. The chippy itself is small in a Okehampton back street with a small seating area. It was very busy on arrival, but we can understand why. The Fish Chips Scampi Chips bought were fresh cooked well cooked tasted superb. Can thoroughly recommend.
