"Although I have said that I would recommend the Killermont Polo Club I was very disappointed in the booking system. Booked for the 23re February at 6:00 p.m for 3 people. I was running late and phoned to inform them and was told that there was no booking made. When they checked they had booked me in for the 22nd. I was then told that they were fully booked and if they had noticed on the 22nd when they received the booking they would have phone me to cancel it. I said I was not happy with this and they said that they could put us in a room upstairs but as they were short of staff they could not guarantee the service. Had to book this as family were coming and it was too late to change it and find another restaurant in my area. When we arrived we were given a table in the main restaurant which did have empty tables and it was also pointed out to me again that had they noticed they would have cancelled the booking. Which I thought was a bit off and quite embarrassing as I had family with me and did not need to be reminded. Very disappointed as I am a regular either for take-away or in the restaurant as the food is always very good and good value also."

We enjoyed a Saturday night buffet with excellent quality and great service. Despite being busy, the staff still provided outstanding service.

We opted for the buffet. A large selection of starters are brought to your table so you only have to go to the buffet to get your curry. Nans are made fresh and again brought to your table. A lovely feast.

Myself and a couple of my friends booked for a 3 course meal and we all had different meals which we all enjoyed. The waiter was efficient with our Meals. I would recommend The Polo Club. Very relaxed atmosphere.

Had a superb meal, freshly cooked, tender meat, great portions ... service from staff first class...ThankyouTo the owner .... only one on going criticism the owner so needs to invest in the interior now in particular the carpet which is awful and rather off putting ...

My friend ordered the tandoori mixed grill, but it was very overcooked. The chicken was dry and everything was excessively spiced, making it inedible. When we informed the manager, he dismissed our concerns and said that's how it's supposed to be. This was not our first time at an Indian restaurant, nor our first experience with spicy food. We will not be returning.
