Kim's Bulgogi - Piatti

I order kimchi pancakes, extra crispy, to take away on a weekly basis. They're lovely: always hot and fresh and crispy as ordered. If they say it will be ready in 15 minutes, it will be.

Lovely wee Korean cafe in Stockbridge. Great selection value. Home made kimchi only £1 miso soup £1.50. The bulgogi beef, dumplings chicken bibimbap were all delicious. Excellent all round.

The first impression of this place was that it was immaculate. The owner was really kind, the bulgogi was moist, chicken was crispy and well seasoned. The portion was generous and being Korean myself, it is genuinely authentic and well seasoned. Would definitely go back again! Visualizza piatti

I had a wonderful experience at this laid-back Korean restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was extremely friendly. My niece, who had never tried Korean cuisine before, thoroughly enjoyed it. We have had Korean food before and always loved it. This place is perfect for a quick and satisfying dinner.

Fancied something different for lunch and went on a Google hunt...Kims Bulgogi came up and off we went. Small menu, which is ideal as it makes it easier to pick some items. We ordered the dumplings, Korean chicken with glass noodles and spicy chicken with rice. The Korean chicken was amazing, though we'd have preferred that with the rice (we'll know for next time). Can't wait to pop back and try some more from their menu.

Great little Korean restaurant with a short but tasty menu. Lovely dumplings to start and then a selection of their mains. The best was their fire chicken bibimbap. The glass noodles were lovely but needed more! Staff really friendly and welcoming and looked after our twins well! They even sent them away with a small snack! After visiting the Golden Hare Bookstore nearby, we decided to have dinner at this Korean restaurant. As my boyfriend is Korean, he enjoys exploring different Korean eateries while traveling. This particular restaurant turned out to be a winner! If I were a local, I can imagine myself ordering from here frequently. For our meal, we tried the Fire Chicken Bulgogi with Rice, the Chili Chicken with Noodles (Japchae), and a plate of Veggie Dumplings. Both of us agreed that the Chili Chicken with Noodles (a crispy fried chicken dish) was the standout favorite!

My partner and I dined at this restaurant last year (2021) and were disappointed to find that both of our chicken bulgogi dishes were lacking in flavor - there was literally no taste at all. It was quite unusual. Despite this, my partner had ordered from Kim's multiple times during lockdown and had raved about it, so we decided to give it another chance, thinking it may have just been an off day. However, when we returned in September 2022, we found that both the spicy chicken and chicken bulgogi dishes still lacked any discernible flavor. It was a shame because the chicken was incredibly crispy and the rice was perfectly fluffy, but unfortunately, the seasoning was nonexistent.

Food was a 10/10 and awesome portion sizes for the price. I was ordering online with my friend who really doesn't like spicy food, the restaurant called me several times to try and get me and explain (in the end they left a voicemail and left a little handwritten note inside the bag) explaining that the tofu is made in an already spicy mix but they had done their best to combat, and if it was too much then we should remove the tofu. Just great thought put into it and we had a fantastic experience. Will definitely eat here again and was left with a really great feeling about the place.
