"I dived here with a couple of colleagues for lunch. I visited this Korean restaurant a few times before, but never for lunch. the restaurant is small and full of quirky, domestic objects. it almost feels like they're in someone's room. we received a short menu, but also a booklet that showed the meal in detail, with photos of the ingredients that go to the court and a finished article shot. this is very useful if they were not yet in the restaurant and do not know where to start. it beaten that all three of us were going to order bulgogi, I was going to squash and the other two with huh. every head comes with a suppe and a series of appetizers. the suppe was green bean and was a perfect size to let her go while on her pornstar without being overcrowded. the appetiser consisted of mushrooms, kimchi, broccoli and a little sausage that was delicious. the parts of each are only a mouthful per person. when the main thing arrived, we were offered the right way to eat the dish. this is very useful, especially for a nervous first timer and a very nice note. all seemed to enjoy their boggi. the meat was well cooked and the sauce had a nice deep. the vegetables were also well cooked and gave crispy and soft, where necessary. the salat part of the bogogi gave the meal a fresh and was simply in its delivery. each court came with a small bowl of rice, which was a nice size, but we were offered more if we wanted it. this restaurant makes fun, with knowledgeable employees. eating is tasty and is worth a visit for some great Korean foods."

If this were California, I'd probably give this place a 3.5, but I have to lower my Asian food standards for Scotland.

Different but good. Limited starters but range of mains. Been there twice. First time excellent. Second time not quite as good. Well worth trying. Family run. Very nice people and some very good food. Not expensive. Well worth a try.

I had a high expectation for this place because it was recommended by a Korean friend and it was not disappointed. I had her bibimbap for more than I can count, and her rinderbulgogi was also fantastic. the owner was really nice and attentive, and it always felt very welcome to eat at this place.

we had information about the restaurant, we were there 20 minutes before the opening hours. when they opened, the people could be accommodated in the waiting queue in the small room. but besides the strange service approach, the food pays back. excellent delicious dishes that they want to come back soon.

My favorite Korean restaurant in Edinburgh. The restaurant itself is just adorable, with perhaps 20 seatings max, it's run by a small family, with the wife in the kitchen, the husband at the front of house and their children serving. The food is inexpensive and humble. The bibimbap is really nice and so are the sushi and bulgogi.

Winter warmer. Home style Korean food. Squeeze into this rather small family run restaurant if you can. The owner will do his best to guide you through the menu and then his wife will produce a tasty, well presented and very reasonably priced meal for you. Numerous Korean favourites such as bibimbap and bulgogi feature. Perfect for lunch on a cold day.

"new kapitel has caught my attention after I was on top ten on trip advisor only months after the opening in the oktober last year. that and the fact that it is open for my early january birthday, made it the perfect place to celebrate to become a little older. I was with the man and his family. the man is quite used to my taste and good to the kind of kitchen that would appeal to me for a special occasion; his family not so much and I was filled with shame as his mother scornful went through the menu trying to find something she would enjoy. I've eaten with the family of the man, and I know they enjoy eating, so I think it's a failure of the menu that it is not accessible. the benming always blooming and garnish can appeal to some, but for others it is overcomplicated and it is necessary to find a balance between the two. we start with the starters and I go for venison sour wort pithvier. the venison was underheated and incredibly dry, to the happiness the sourded a little moisturizing and so saved the whole dish, but the aromen were quite not clear, except the garnitur of plastered mushrooms I thoroughly enjoyed. for the largest part we chose a fish dish for our main,- sea trout, smoked muddles, petersilien and coast herbs. where the starter fell, the main recording is getting back. the dish is rich and creamy, and each element adds the complexity of the taste as a whole, without disturbing. the concept is now an old one, and it would be deceptive if it had not worked, as it would essentially pay with this place. I enjoyed my meal in new chapter, although I do not agree with it is stellar status under the hierarchy of edinburgh eateries. it is top ten position is just a flash in the pan of hot popularity, and in time it will be plated in the upper half of the middle stage where it belongs. and that is where it belongs, the dishes can be plated with a michelin star in understood, and the venue and the supporting media has the clean lines and empty slate look of fine but eat the team has a long gone to go if that is their real aim. at the end, although it was a beautiful meal, and cheap (at the moment I would not be surprised to see their prices slowly rise) and the man’s mother found something they enjoyed and that is the most important."
