The hostess seated us and no one ever showed up until I went looking for someone.

3rd time here. Still just as good. Cosy, tranquil, huge range of whisky, log fires, sea view.

Had lunch on the patio; service was attentive and kind. The sushi and sashimi was terrific. Fantastic spot!!!

Personalised and exceptional service by every member of staff. Food was just perfect, presentation, taste and serving size excellent.

My friends and I had a brilliant weekend at Knockinaam Lodge. We stayed in Shingle Lodge which is beautifully presented and very well equipped. We enjoyed a sumptuous afternoon tea and a delicious Sunday lunch in the elegant and charming main hotel. Thank you to all the wonderful staff at Knockinaam Lodge for an amazing weekend. We can’t wait to return.

Fabulous weekend staying atShingle Lodge.Beautiful lodge, so peaceful with fabulous underfloor heating! We had a fantastic afternoon tea with beautiful home made scones as well as fabulous home made cakes. On Sunday we had an equally fantastic 4 course lunch, beautifully presentated, and the most delicious soufflé I have ever had! Overall a wonderfully relaxing weekend .

Just home after a relaxing stay in Shingle Lodge. Everything perfect as usual. Can’t fault anything about this lovely place... Sian, David and the team are putting so much effort into their re opening... a huge amount of work has gone into making the hotel a safe place to be for guests and staff in these uncertain times. We returned to Knockinaam after a gap of eight years. What a great start to our Christmas holidays. A wonderful ambiance is felt as soon as you walk through the door. Nothing is too much trouble from the lovely staff. Superb food and wine and comfortable rooms make for a very relaxing, peaceful stay. Lily our dog also enjoyed the walks on the beach. Thank you again, we will be back.

Just back from a wonderful 2night stay with our wee dog Betsy,she loved having her own private beach to belt along We had dinner on our 1st night which was amazing nothing to fault what so ever chef your amazing at creating such mouthwatering dishes The girls who served us and checked us in were so helpful and lovely even brought us tea in the morning to our room Breakfast was wonderful and cooked to perfection everything so tasty Can’t wait to return it was certainly worth the money Thank you Lynne& Phil Murton Xx
