"This is the third time visiting a different Kokoro. It is the first time where they wouldn't customise options even though we were the only ones in there. Disappointing as all the other Kokoros had before and we could see someone making up the sushi so it isn't like anyone wasn't available. This happened the second time visiting this Kokoro yesterday, the first time we went at lunch time and ordered a Pumpkin Katsu Curry and a Chicken Katsu Curry, we were very surprised at how much Pumpkin and Chicken we got as other places like Yo Sushi for example only give you a small amount. The down side was that I felt like the curry had a bit of a strange after taste, I have tried a lot of katsu Currys and none of them had this weird taste. A lot of options and it was clean which is why I am giving it 3 stars."

This Japanese restaurant offers delicious food without any frills. The staff is friendly and accommodating, and the meal options are flexible, making for a delightful dining experience. I ordered the large mix and match box, which was priced at under £7.

They reduced their portions. Still charge 10 pounds per portion but cut up 2 pieces of katsu chicken instead of 3. I asked the lady why this is and she said there is new management and so this is the new portion so she cannot fill it up to the top. Disappointing. Not coming back.

First time visiting and trying kokoro and it was lovely I had the sweet and sour chicken with noodles and my partner had the katsu curry with rice and we both enjoyed it very much I also tried some sushi very nice and fresh but I found it quite fishy tasting! Went in at weekend for a quick bite. I had salmon sashimi and salmon sushi for about £7.50. My partner had chicken teriyaki with rice , same price. Neither meal was up to much. Both the salmon and chicken were poor quality. I appreciate it's not high end and reasonably priced but there are far better alternatives. I won't go back.

I had accidentally ordered the wrong thing and as soon as I realised, I told the lady. She refused to give me the one I actually wanted claiming that it 's already been made . Funny excuse because when I came here prior to yesterday, I was given a box that was already made that was on the counter. Needless to say I won 't be coming back here as that woman was very rude to me.
