"Went to see the old widow's houses which are worth seeing , decided to stop for lunch and nabbed an outside table. It was quiet when we arrived. We weren't that hungry so had a starter each.Husband had an excellent Caesar salad and I had...a crispy goats cheese salad which turned out to be a small amount of goats cheese with a LOT of beetroot. Luckily I like beetroot but it wasn't what I was expecting! The experience was somewhat marred by endless people coming past the restaurant barrier to take pictures of the end of the street/ use the customer only toilets.I understand the street is a tourist attraction but with zooms on cameras, there is no need for people to be walking past the signs that say restaurant only and knocking into paying customers. This would put me off going back as it felt a bit like having lunch in the middle of a bus station!"

The food, the atmosphere and the service are absolutely outstanding! This is food heaven, and the hour journey to Hamburg was well worth it! We would recommend this restaurant unreservedly!

a beautiful and warm family type of German restaurant, with the food and service is very good. do not miss the pickled herring filets and the carvings. the history of the place is also very interesting.

Such a wonderful atmosphere in this old building with its antiquities. The service we received was second to none and the nine dishes that we had between the three of us could not be faulted. Delicious.

The location Is very peculiar, the food was great and the waitress was extremely nice! I would totally recommend this restaurant. La location è molto caratteristica, il cibo era buono e la cameriera gentilissima! Assolutamente consigliato.

We visited this restaurant due to good reviews and found it to be very quirky. It is located in an old, picturesque building which is nice. The food is good but its more the atmosphere than quality of food that is why I gave it...the rating.

krameramtstuben is located in rooms decorated by old times in an old house. Eating is very traditional. we had carving, that was very good and hot flalet, where the fish was good, but the marinade to cremy. atmospphere is beautiful and service is in order.

We dropped by after a visit to the church St. Michaelis. The restaurant is located a bit hidden inside the historic quarter Kammeramtsstuben, which you should not miss anyway when near. Food was very good. But be aware this place is pretty small and many...pleople like to eat here. It may make sense phoning in to check for a table.
