Lovely family restaurant large menu and the food was some of the best chinese I've ever eaten

I lived in China for 6 years and I started falling in love with Chinese cuisine. This place couldn't match my expectations.

good service, nice warm food. it was not interested that babies around the restaurant were carried by the grandmother who cleaned tables.

a great restaurant, we had a set menu and couldn't finish everything that was generous and eating was good. the staff was friendly and attentive, I would recommend stopping here for a great Chinese meal!

Yesterday, I visited this Chinese restaurant in Buxton with my friends, and it was fantastic. The portions were huge, the food was delicious, and the prices were very affordable. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Buxton.

Don’t be fooled by the exterior and typical Chinese decoration that is a bit dated as this a true Chinese with tasty dishes. A lovely friendly welcome and service. The food was plentiful and very tasty. True Chinese not fake sauces. It was quiet in the restaurant but busy with takeaways. We will certainly be back when in the area

kwei lin is exactly what they would expect from a Chinese restaurant. a large selection of dressed, good vegan and vegetarian options and delicious food. the only reason we had four stars was because it is exactly what they expect. the interiors could do with a bit of fidget up and the menus could also replace. the personal was really friendly and knowledgeable, they were also very busy when we arrived there, which is always a good sign! oh, and it is also the only place where I had salt and pepper bags that were saucy. but they were delicious!

I had a fantastic experience here with my family (husband and 2 kids . It's a lovely little family restaurant, really good portions, not greasy and authentic. It was lovely to see another little child on site as well as she played with my children (I could enjoy the food in peace! . Read the comments before and unsure how the previous customer would know whether they used old or new rice... but the boiled rice I had was soft and steamy and the fried rice was freshly cooked (I could still taste that wok-taste, #IYKYK . Highly recommend this little gem in Buxton. Dont be fooled by its exterior!

beautiful family atmosphere, it looked a bit like in someone's lounge from outside. the lady who ran the place was cheerful, command to take care of her beautiful baby enkelin. they were busy with rip-off jobs so that eating took a little time to arrive, but given this beautiful family the feeling that I was happy for them that they made a good deal. mostly cantonese hong kong style classic on the menu and a whole page of vegetarian options, including some somewhat unusual sauces that I had not seen before (e.g. red date and honey). eating was good, not flashy or so, but a kind of domestic feeling for it. the prices seemed very reasonable.
