Even though these oysters come from Ile d'Oleron 4 hrs away they could have well been plucked there and straight onto the table they were fresh only slightly salty delicate but firm and sizeable for No 3 a dozen for €16 in the centre of town came with classic rye bread

Great little place serves the highest quality oysters and other fresh seafoods. We had a dozen of Marennes d`Oleron oysters and Saint Jaques scallops with smoked paprika and vegetables. All was washed down with a small bottle of champagne. Attentive and friendly service.

If you prefer to eat very unhealthy junk food this is the must! But if you don’t like fried fried seafood with a lot of fried oil go away from this place! I had a stomach pain after panfried scallops and king prawns (actually they wasn’t a king) I not recommended this place at all

The food and wine were excelent but the quantity and variety were scarce so neither as bone marche as it looked at first. The chef had stressful and mean attitude, they even put people we didnt know at our already small table without asking! And We were not the only ones who were played that trick!

We passed this place for several days and noticed it was always packed, so we gave it a go. The chipirones and mussels were excellent, a fair portion and dressed with lovely herby flavours. The tuna was obviously good quality but I did not expect it to be tinned neither did i expect this and the anchovies to be well....sparse! But then again some of our orders were just tasters. Once again incredibly friendly, happy service and excellent wine! Food and four drinks 53 euros, very reasonable.

I mean the huge fresh shrimps with aioli sauce; or the delicate fresh anchovies, pickled in olive oil and lemon and sprinkled with chopped parsley; or the different types of oysters, served with baguette and butter, or the local inexpensive rose, or some of the hot seafood, like casserole St. Jacques. All this while service is attentive and friendly. They even called us a cab to take us back to our hotel Le Regina (separate review) when we decided we were too full to climb up the long street going back. I found this place on Tripadvisor, thank you people for sharing.

This was referred to us by our hotel and we were so pleased. At the end of the street among some brilliant little eateries that could make a dinner choice difficult. Orders of Oysters, Grilled Prawns and Grilled Scallops were outstanding! So much so we had a second of the scallops and both declared they were the best we have ever eaten. Having enjoyed ourselves so much we went back the next night to do the same only with an addition of a beautiful calamari dish. Scallops again declared best ever!! If in Biarritz and after quality, no fuss good oysters, prawns and scallops- treat yourself here.

This restaurant has outstanding reviews and in part, we can see why. Extremely fresh and quality seafood, fast and friendly service, sat out doors with a chilled glass of wine. Lovely. We ordered oysters, anchovies, tortilla, padron peppers, prawns, razor clams and mussels. We enjoyed the food however the prawns, clams and mussels were all drenched in a very similar salty sauce of garlic, parsley and olive oil. We generally love this sauce with seafood but with 3 dishes all containing essentially the same sauce, it was overwhelming and a bit boring. We would go again, but only order one of these dishes (probably the prawns).
