"Restaurant clean, good cuisine, impeccable service, I recommend to 100 . You can go with your eyes closed. The setting is very beautiful with beautiful terraces. The listening staff, they even brought me a plaid because the weather was refreshing, a cushion for a more comfortable seat. Excellent meat is cooked with wood fire. I'm posting some pictures to give you an idea. Little disappointment on the waffle that is a perso correlated paste I prefer the traditional."

"in the light of the so-called hyrambican comments on this restaurant, we decided, with a friend, to have lunch this week. we took the gourmet menu at 29,50 €. my entrance, a caesar salad, was good, but my friend has a lot of salty taste, while she still appreciates the salt. personally I couldn’t have eaten it. it was based on smoked trout and asparagus. the dishes, the opposite of the entries, good for my friend and very medium for me. a pear of pork in the Provençal, without too much taste and certainly not that of Provence, accompanied by rice that had not been emptied correctly. When my dessert friend was playing his cheese plate and my mille-feuilles with clementine was pretty good. at the end, it is made home, of course, but it is not particularly copied. and at 29,50 € the menu, we expect much better in terms of quality. Maybe we fell a bad day."

"You wouldn’t know about this little restaurant unless someone told you or you read it here. Salèlles-d’Aude is a little sleepy village along the bucolic Canal de la Robine, a southerly branch of France’s famous Canal du Midi. Cook n’ Roll is a crazy little...eatery hidden away down a leafy lane and featuring an old Citroën van serving as its garden table setting hatchery. It is a simply magnifique and utterly bohemian setting for some fine rustic fare. There might not be much to choose from on the changing menu, but that hardly matters as it is bound to be good. On our particular dining night there were exactly two starters, two mains and one dessert. Starters consisted of tuna ceviche and chicken style style salad. Mains were duck breast in a totally enticing sauce and tuna with tagliatelle on a green bean bed. Dessert was creamy vanilla tart. Wine is sold by the carafe or the bottle and feature some of the local product. If the food alone was simple merveilleux, then the setting was incroyable. Simple metallic chairs an tabled scattered in among a few trees in what amounts to a back garden. You can dine inside, but why bother. Run by three well-travelled and dedicated connoisseurs of cuisine, Jean-Marie, Arian and Milo this shy little gem invites you to linger. Reservations are absolutely necessary and perhaps a good map. Otherwise, walk minutes south along the canal track (west side) from the main bridge to find Cook n’ Roll and look for the little side path. You will be utterly enchanted."
