"We wanted to get a hot breakfast, as we were cold. We went in 2 cafes, but as per France, breakfast is coffee and a bread roll with jam. We went in here (diagonally opposite wthe Gare Lille Flandres), which has a yellow canopy outside. I had Croque Monsieur which was heated on a plate. Simply superb !!!"

We’d gone to this nice coffee shop and tried chocolate chip cookies which were warm, tasty and crunchy. It’s a must if you want to get “frenchified”

During the Euro 2016 I went here for a sandwich/baguette. It was super crowded inside but personnel was efficient and the sandwich tasted okay. It is nearby the stadium so if you're hungry, you can stop here for a sandwich.

"discovering this restaurant on the occasion of the saint-valentin. we were pleasantly surprised by the original setting of this restaurant located in the car concession. the number of places is limited (think to book). Level food, there is certainly not much choice (gage of fresh products) but the presentation of the dishes is neat, the tastes are tasty, we have been conquered! special mention for baking beef that was simply excellent! at the razed service level, people were smiling and available. Thanks to the club team for this very good night."

"We had visited the Canadian War Memorial and the associated guided tour. We then set off looking for a snack lunch. As we came into Avion we spotted the restaurant on the corner. We managed to park nearby. It was quite late for lunch but the proprietor was very accommodating and agreed to keep the kitchen open for us, unlike this country!The set menu which we were presented with was not what we were looking for although there were some lovely things to choose from on the menu. However on the chalk board behind us there were other choices. Two of us had large tiger prawns cooked with a type of risotto. The other two members of the party chose Ris de Veau, which they thought was veal with rice!! Not so, a big learning curve for them, it was actually sweetbreads in a cream and mushroom sauce! They said the dish was delicious, but had they known what they were choosing would not have made that choice!!! Sometimes it's best not to know!The staff couldn't understand a word of English and struggled to understand our French, but they had a good sense of humour. The bill was quite big as this is quite a classy restaurant. We wished that we hadn't already booked a table at another restaurant for the evening as the cote de boeuf looked fabulous. In all a good find."

"I arrived in this place by chance but I will return with the greatest pleasure. The frame is beautifully lined with objects from the region. Then comes the very friendly waitress and I let myself try with the suggestions. My companion takes a dish from the card a sure value will tell us later the cook. Well, I haven't eaten so well in a while. A lot of simplicity and greediness on our plates. I was pleased to discuss with the chef ... he was very proud of his home-made products and local suppliers. And he can be proud of it was the taste of taste. I hope soon, it's far for us but who knows? Good continuation"

Everything is done in accordance with your choices with a friendly smile and very good cooking made home by a chef.
