we took the menu at 35€ a little expensive for these dishes. no network in the restaurant

looked nice from outside and inside. Food was just OK. Cold and uncomfortable atmosphere. A smile now and again works wonders :

We have been regular customers for some years and even if the menu changes little, it remains tasty. Traditional cuisine of excellent quality. We are never disappointed that it is for the kitchen as for the service. Emilia, the waitress is a discreet, respectful and effective person. After some wine tasting at the Caves Plouzeau, we walked down the rue Haute Saint Maurice and stopped at La Table de Jeanne, on the outside a simple eating place, inside a wonderful little restaurant with a great cuisine. We worked our way through starters, main course and dessert, and our attention was drawn to the starter of kidney and sweetbreads in red wine sauce and the dessert of dried pear Rivarennes revived with Ypocras wine (plus vanilla ice cream). Friendly service and friendly prices.

We thought we'd struck it lucky in getting a table just before this restaurant filled up. Not so. We simply wanted a main meal and get home early, but it was about an hour before our meals arrived. My partner's fish was substantial and excellent, but my fillet mignon, while well prepared, was very small. I am not a big eater, but I was still hungry after finishing it. So, reluctantly, and only because I was still hungry, we decided to order dessert. This in itself took an eternity. A tarte au citron arrived quickly after we eventually got to order it a shortbread biscuit with some small balls of lemon sauce and egg white piped onto it. Tasty, but again small, and very expensive at 8.5 euro....
