It's definitely not "cutting edge", but L'Ardoise is a great local restaurant on a somewhat touristy street in Chinon.

A pleasant atmosphere, exeption meal with an extremely attractive card! The negative point is the management of the customer on the course of the meal. Aside from returning to Chinon to spend time touring the Chateau and visiting with our new friends, I especially wanted to feast daily on the excellent selections especially the Brioche at Au Plaisir de Chinon.
