ottimo ristorante dove si mangia piatti preparati con ingredienti di ottima qualità. carne eccellente, così come antipasti e il primo. posto molto bello, arredato con goto, personale professionale e gentile. Mi dispiace.

The service and the food were both wonderful. Our waiter and waitress were both delightful. We had lamb and pork, and they were both cooked to perfection! Our lunch came to 62 euro, with a huge salad, a delicious house wine, pasta, and two coffees. Looking forward to going back to try the steaks, which also looked great!!

The serving was incredible slow, it took around 1h30 to have the starters and some pastas. The food was also low quality, the pasta were uncooked as they were hard at the interior, the sauce insipid. The cheesecake: not eatable. Prices with 2-3 euros/plate higher in comparison to similar restaurants. We do not recommend!!!

Ora non siamo soliti mangiare nello stesso posto due volte durante un viaggio. Tuttavia, siamo rimasti così affascinati dal cibo alla griglia e dal servizio di Serena durante la nostra prima visita, che siamo tornati la sera successiva per la nostra esperienza in Toscana con bistecca alla griglia. Entrambe le sere abbiamo mangiato all'aperto poiché dentro faceva un po' caldo.

Siamo stati perfettamente felici di mangiare qui per due sere dei nostri quattro giorni di permanenza nella zona. Il cibo era così delizioso e l'atmosfera calda, accogliente e informale. È stato facile gustare un pasto lungo e piacevole reso ancora migliore dal fantastico servizio! Un grande grido di gioia a Michael per aver reso la nostra vacanza in Toscana così divertente e perfetta!

Bel posto. Ragazzo. .. freddo sincato locale...le donne degli altri tavoli hanno la giacca di cn pranzo o il piumino. ...presenti 2 punti per riscaldare ma uno solo su. ha consegnato 3 pici al cinghiale di buona fattura ma il cinghiale nn si sentiva proprio (impressione di tutti i 3 commensali)...buoni i crostini ai fegatelli....il resto tutto nella norma...è stato un nobile. . Si potrebbe anche tornare indietro ma che cosa male vedere mangiare cn le giacche... Boh...nn convinto

We came here on our first night of our trip. It's one of two restaurants inside Il Patriarca. From the start, we had trouble getting the attention of the staff to seat us. We ended up being one of the only tables seated inside. We had the platter of mixed barbecue meats. They were very good, especially the sausage. The appetizers were also excellent. However, when it came to pay the bill it became hard again to get the attention of the wait staff. We finally ended up walking up to the bar to pay.

La Taverna del Patriarca is outside of Chiusi in the lower floor of a pristine Tuscan hotel. The restaurant is bright, oversized and centered around a open fire pit roasted fresh Chianina beef from Tuscany. The servers are professional and attentive. When we arrived we could chat with the two servers but as the restaurant filled there remained only 2 servers who were stretched to accommodate all. Management should add more servers especially for the weekend dinners. The food was intoxicating from the fresh local ingredients, preparation, presentation and of course mouth-watering taste--especially the grilled Chianina steak. Prices were all reasonable. Would I dine here again? Yes, of course....

Taverna Il Patriarca is an upscale, but not overly so, restaurant with a menu similar to other places in town, but with a higher price point. Our experience was limited to a late lunch stop, so we can’t comment too extensively, but the the two soups we had were flavorful, a minestrone and an anchovy and cauliflower. Neither were terribly hot. The anchovies took the cauliflower flavor out of the soup. We had an excellent salad with an oil and vinegar dressing. Topped it with a nice house red. While all was fine, we had better, hotter soup elsewhere in town for substantially less money. Same with wine. Ten euros for a half liter was bout twice what we paid in other places and the wines were as...
