La Terrasse d'Hiver du Westin

It was a lovely evening in Paris and the food here was delicious, staff wonderful and ambience fabulous.

I relaxing location offering a good choice of food and accommodation always assuming you can afford their astronomic prices.

This is a lovely spot for a quick lunch. You can enjoy bar style lunch + some drink in a very nice atmosphere. If you are staying at Westin, why not come back in the evening?

After all that shopping. This is one of the place you could really just seat down and people-watch. Great atmosphere. The temperature on that day was just perfect for us to be sitting outdoors. Charming staffs as well!

Our waiter seemed to be the head waiter and he was not really interested in us. He was good with the other folks, who all seemed to be local businesspersons, but we had to wait long periods for just about everything. It is a beautiful setting and the food was fine/okay/good if little overpriced - but it is Paris!

Beautiful courtyard restaurant at the Westin Vendome. We were staying at the hotel and went to La Terrasse for drinks. The ambience is peaceful, and a nice respite from the busy city. I've learned that speedy service is not a "thing" in Paris. At first I was annoyed but I quickly came to appreciate not being rushed.

I had a vegetable tempura entree which was excellent, then got adventurous and took a "white bowl" which is basically a fridge-cold pre-prepared salad which taste OK but just is obviously prepared ahead of time and too cold.I think i just chose the wrong main. The others seemed to have ordered better ones. Will try it again considering the nice setting.

Guests in this hotel for five days. We ate here every day. The food was good and very well presented. The service left a bit to be desired. Our last dinner was not up to scratch for a hotel of this caliber. We waited for over 45 minutes for our order to be taken whilst others arrived after us, ordered and were served before we were offered water, bread, or the orders taken. Apologetic waitress, but no remedy or add on. Disappointing for our last day.

Checked into the hotel but our suite was not ready. While waiting we decided to have a beer and a baguette here being quite tired from being up 24 hours straight.The baguette was ham and cheese and it was average. The Draught beers were good but 13 Euros for a beer is pretty steep when a similar beer in US is $3 at a sports bar.Went back for soup, salad at dinner. We had chicken soup, onion soup, a salad and 2 beers. Both soups were excellent but $80 US without tip is frankly quite stiff. Our waiter was pleasant and talkative.Judge this one by the size of your wallet.the Doctor hit me back with a helpful vote!
