"Anche su parere di Jacqueline, i Watten sono rimasti superbamente soddisfatti! Una sera di Agosto, una prenotazione, accoglienza "à coté" con il sorriso aperto, tutti i tavoli sono impegnati senza disturbo, saluto ad amici, e seduta tra noi 5. Scelta ben selezionata nei menu di base e della carta. Vini di buona selezione, ricerca sui menu. 4 sulle selezioni regionali creative, pesci, verdure e la mia sulla ricerca di sapori del Pacifico.A boire, grande e fresco a giusta temperatura Rosé Cote Province Coste, pallido e soave. Dominanti per scelta Croustillant de St Marcelin su salade croquant de legumes au pistou, Beignets des fleurs de courgettes, Petits farcis niçois avec mesclun, Filet de daurade, sauce vierge Pour moi-mème: Dariole de homarde et fondue de poireaux sur guacamole, Filet de loup sur wok de legumes et chutney de poivron rouge et grann-smith! Un dessert maison ha chiuso con piacere, compreso il favoloso per noi Panna Cotta à la Vanille avec coulis au fruits rouges du chef! Onore allo chef e al servizio cortesissimo delle giovani al servizio delle portate, acque e vino, desserts! Graziosamente... perfetto!Ambiente all'esterno, immerso nel borgo originate de La Napoule, abitato con grazia e a diretto rapporto di tradizione della storica Baia de La Napoule ormai nota come Baie de Cannes!"

"comme j'ai vu ce resto en N°1 sur Trip Adivisor sur Theoule, j'y ai envoyé mon fils pour commander 4 pizzas à emporter sur la plage de l'aiguille où nous étions en famille, le tout pour 50 euros : 4 saison + reine + 2 aubergines. Les pizzas sont certes pas trop mauvaises mais pas non plus à la hauteur de ce que j'attendais en N°1. Loin de la qualité de l'auberge St Donat à Plascassier par exemple avec trop peu de garnitures. Je ne comprends pas la place N°1 de ce resto, à moins que les pizzas servies au resto soient plus copieuses car cela arrive souvent que les restos garnissent moins bien les pizzas à emporter."

"One of the many joys of returning to the Cannes is to be able to go back to Cafe Pico. Located about a brisk 20 minutes walk from the Hotel de Ville along the main road toward Mandelieu-La Napoule (not the sea route) across form the College Internationale is where this friendly well run coffee shop exists. It literally is like a “Cheers” cafe!The very able proprietor, Olivier, who has spent time in the LA area (hence the name Cafe Pico), knows just about ever patron who comes in. Even if he doesn't know you, he or is able and attractive colleague greets everyone with a friendly “bonjour” and a “bon journee” when you leave. If you happen to arrive as a stranger, you will leave as a friend!However, the best thing about Cafe Pico is the menu. Each day Olivier prepares a plat du jour---home cooked---for about 9 to 12 euros. In addition there is a nice menu of salads, sandwiches, snacks and drinks. The coffee, of course, is made to order. Anything can be eaten in or taken out. It you can't see a sandwich you like, Olivier will be happy to make it for you if he has the ingredients.The surprise this year is that Olivier has done an extensive remodeling of the cafe without loosing its former coziness and charm. I you are looking for a nice lunch or need a coffee break or just want to see what French conviviality is like, it is well worth a trip to Cafe Pico. Too bad he is not open in the evening!"

"We found La Rotonde by chance on our way back to the bus to Cannes and had lunch there. It was a Sunday. We chose the "entry level" lunch but there are more elaborate menus. Hadn't had fish soup for a long time and loved it. Our 2 main dishes were very good as was the dessert. I had the crème brulée. All dishes were beautifully presented. Wine by the glass is available and I had that. My husband had a beer. Of course there is a wine list but I can't comment on that. The cheese tray looked amazing. We were looked after very well, the dishes being described as they were presented. There was a large party of 12 there as well but the two staff seemed to have everything under control. We felt the lunch was excellent value and can't wait to return."

"the sober decoration is harmonious, but notices a little if you lift your head. the restaurant is clean, well kept. only one person in the room (probably the boss) very kind. reasonable expectation. dishes are well presented, fine to taste. The property has a large terrace, quite quiet and a parking lot nearby. Menus 15 € per lunch and 15 or 19 € per evening remain of a correct rate."
