This is the fourth and final time we have ordered delivery from this restaurant. Each time, our order arrived more than 30 minutes late and with incorrect dishes.

Visited this restaurant last night with my daughter. Staff very friendly and welcoming. The food was really excellent and served quickly. Will definitely return soon. .

Dreadful experience of take away. Food arrived over two hours late and missing many dishes. Was repeatedly told that food was “just leaving now” and “on its way”. Staff were uncooperative when I asked for a refund for the missing dishes. I will not be ordering again. Visualizza piatti

During the lockdown, we had stopped relying on deliveroo and Uber Eats for takeout due to previous disappointments. However, last night's takeaway was a pleasant surprise. We ordered directly from the restaurant and the food arrived hot and faster than expected. The dishes were full of flavors and delicious. We will definitely be returning.

My family and I enjoyed a delicious takeaway tonight. The curry had great flavors and was reasonably priced. The owner was very friendly. The new owners are currently renovating the interior of the restaurant, which must be costing them a lot of money. They have faced challenges due to the pandemic, so I urge you to support them by ordering a tasty takeaway. It's a win-win situation!

This was the first time we had eaten here .My husband made a reservation as a surprise for my birthday. We were greeted by the pleasant manager and seated in a booth. The food was delicious, We had poppadoms with relishes.P had an onion bhaji and I had king prawns. For our main dishes P had Naseeri Chicken and I had Salmon.. (Now Cardamom Bay) Nipped in early Sunday evening to collect a takeaway. The place was empty, apart from staff. Collected a chicken rezala, pilau rice and plain naan. The rice was quite nice, the curry average, but ok. Bit greasy, but passable. Though for the cost of the takeaway £16, I expected something much better. Then we come to the naan if I can call it that. Usually light un colour, fluffy with just the right dark areas that are slightly crispy with a slight hint of sweetness. And usually teardrop shaped. Decided to order a takeaway around 6.30pm Sat evening, noticed from the takeaway menu posted through our letterbox that this restaurant delivered and you could order online. Placed order and it was confirmed to arrive in 45mins. After an hour my husband called to find out what was happening, after several minutes where he was just left holding on the phone they eventually said the food had just left and would be with us soon. When it eventually arrived it was appalling...we ordered 4 popadoms only 2 were delivered. But worst of all the onion bhajis were burnt dark brown to black, you could smell the burnt oil. So my husband called them he spoke to a women that said she owned the restaurant....

Writing reviews is not usually my go to and I write this one with a heavy heart. My dad used to take me here when I was younger, so when it came to last minute booking for Valentines day, I knew that Lal Jomi was a good and strong option. A table for two and 6:30, We were the first there, and the staff couldn 't find our booking. With that, I had to retrieve the email from my phone to prove we had booked.
