Looking for something new, I came across the Lagano. Nice service meets Ethiopian food. Very tasty and concentrated on the essential. Extra recommendation for EADS Ethiopian beer, unfortunately forgot a photo, also surprised me very positively. Price absolutely suitable, 2 main dishes, appetizer and 4 drinks €45. Visiting time was just after opening at 16:30.

Exceptional food in an inconspicuous restaurant. The mixing plate (shown in the picture) was very tasty, varied and more than sufficient. The dishes are eaten with the fingers. The beer was served in half a coconut. Dessert is unfortunately not offered so that after the main dish is final, or a sweet drink must be made as an alternative. Only the ambience is trist and the service has more time in the evening of my visit. All in all however recommended and I will certainly come back.

I actually discovered Ethiopian food in Berlin, at great Langano, and what a super delicious surprise! I recommend going there with your stomach empty since you will get so much incredible food for a very good price.....and you won't resist to their magic menu, trust...me! Location is great (in the heart of Kreuzberg), the restaurant looks amazing (furnished in a typical Ethiopian way, very cozy) and service is outstandingly friendly, professional and fast. Wir waren an einem Samstag Abend in Sechser Gruppe da Essen - und wir waren froh das wir reserviert hatten, denn es war jede Menge los! Die Bedienung war super freundlich und hilfsbereit, allerdings sehr unkoordiniert im Team (anscheinend hat nicht jeder seinen Tisch zugeteilt) was mich aber nicht so sehr gestört hat! - Ich war bereits einige Male in anderen Städten Äthiopisch Essen, und das Essen dort ist wirklich sehr lecker, landestypisch und es gibt immer etwas Jinja Brot extra. Im Vergleich zu anderen äthiopischen Restaurants war mir etwas zu wenig Soße dabei und milder gewürzt als ich das bisher kannte. Aber total lecker und absolut zu empfehlen!

When we arrived, everything was full, no problem for the sympathetic owners... zack. just a table outside, no problem. We had four of the Bejainetu, a large plate with mixed meat (height, beef and lamb), as well as various vegetable dishes. Everything is served on small apartments so you can leave the bottle and eat the dish with your fingers. In nice company a great fun. Einfaches Restaurant, freundlicher Service, gemischtes Publikum, leckeres Essen! An sich hatten wir einen netten Abend dort. Das Restaurant ist sehr einfach, die Dekoration ist etwas lieblos. Die Spezialität des Hauses sind gemischte Platten mit verschiedenen warmen oder kalten Speisen, mit und ohne Fleisch/Fisch. Dazu bekommt man eine Art "Pfannkuchen", mit dem man die Speisen aufnimmt. Auf Besteck wird verzichtet. Die Platten sind sehr ansprechend angerichtet, die Gerichte sind geschmacklich hervorragend! Wir haben eine Platte für 5 Personen für knapp 50€ bestellt.
