"Myself and my partner decided to give this restaurant a try on our way back from a day out as it’s really close to where we live. It was Sunday lunch and when we entered it was pretty quiet but looked nice enough. I must...admit we couldn’t help but notice a strange ambience almost as though we had walked into a private party. Anyway we quickly got drinks and received the Sunday menu without prices. My partner had the soup to start which was delicious, I had terrine which was ok at best and a bit measly. For main I ordered the chicken with a Yorkshire pudding and my partner had tomato linguine. From receiving this I just couldn’t wait to get home and make a decent meal. I literally could not distinguish a single item the meal was so incredibly bland it was unbelievable. The gravy basically consisted of warm water and fat. I cannot believe a golf club would serve frozen school dinner Vegetables! I am absolutely gob smacked. This place looks amazing and I would imagine the hotel is beautiful however I will not be risking it. The worst Sunday dinner I have ever had! To top it off the waitress took my barely touched plate (I ate the Yorkshire which was fine, one roast potato one slice of chicken) and never even enquired why I hadn’t touched it. £50 lighter to come home and start heating up a m&s dine in for 2! As for the pasta well if you consider pasta with a tin of chopped tomatoes and cheese on top a quality meal your in for a treat here! I visit lots of bad restaurants but feel leaving harsh reviews is sometimes unfair for the business owners, however I’m sorry to say this was a truly terrible meal. If your looking for Sunday lunch keep looking."

This restaurant has greatly improved since our last visit. The food was delicious with generous portions and very flavorful. We will definitely be returning and had a great evening thanks to the excellent service.

The service at this restaurant was excellent and the food was good. There are options for a 3-course set meal for 22.95, a 2-course meal for 18.95, or you can choose from the a la carte menu. The Eton mess dessert was particularly delicious. The dining room is spacious and the breakfast was satisfying.

We visit this restaurant for a family dinner at least once a year. Usually, there are around 12 of us. The dinner menu offers a lot of choices at great value, the service is excellent, and the view from the restaurant is breathtaking. I have dined here many times and have tried almost everything on the menu, and I have never been disappointed.

Visited at 6pm on Monday 1st April. We were on a Groupon offer, 3 course and a glass of Prosecco £32 for 2 of us. Starters were very ordinary. Chicken and bacon terrine. Caesar salad had far too much sauce. Chicken main course was pretty...good. Prawn Linguine was very good. Sticky toffee pudding and Eton mess for pudding. Waitress really nice. The restaurant lacks atmosphere. Apart from the starters the food was good.

We visited this restaurant last night and the dining room was very clean and modern looking. The toilets and decor were immaculate. All the food that the six of us had was great and there was nothing left on any of the individuals three course...plates . The tomato and pepper soup was very hot and my chicken was cooked to perfection and my husband really enjoyed his ham terrine and his salmon in crushed potatoes with a lovely sauce was excellent. Good words and high praise as he does his own cooking . The sticky toffee pud and ice cream just finished it off nicely. A steal at £32 which also included two glasses of Prosecco .

we have a voucher for a 3-course menu for 2 with processco. when we arrived, we sat quickly, soak order and menu provided. we were told about the additional supplements for 1 starter, 2 the main and 1 dessert! the drinks came. quietly and we hardly touched them before we were offered more. the order was finally accepted. we ordered all three courses at once. it was very slow, but it was nice to eat. the goat cheese to begin was delicious. we had both Suppliment nets (steak and duck), but they were really nice and the sticky toffee pudding was from this world. somewhere where that actually gives them enough toffee sauce! amazing. we enjoyed it with drinks (2 dieätkoks and 2 alcholisch) and th...

we arrived 20 minutes early when I thought the m65 might have been more busy. no problem, we were led directly to a table. 3 adults and a small child. the menu was in a diffy. I pulled a high chair for us. we had three different starters, and three different netzens and three different desserts. as the norm I had a rehearsal of all. I could not believe that the size of juniors humous and oliven, it was a big part. the main were delicious, the a huge fish and tons of chips, a beautiful chicken breast in speck with aromatized maic, and junior has now a thing for steaks and polished them leave away not a crumb. my desert was superb it was a mixed berry pavlowa and I am a Pavlova expert, and do...

"Have never eaten here, but only ever heard positive feed back. Cousins birthday, I do not live in the area so rang to order some bottles of bubbles for the table. Only writing this as experience was very upsetting and I am still shocked. I spoke with a lady, explained cousin having birthday dinner (I did get name wrong that table was ordered under) so wanted to make sure was correct table. She said I was loud and shouting. I have a loud voice (nodules on voice box). But its also naturally loud as well. I do not raise my voice, it is not my style also my voice loud enough. It doesnt need raising. We finally worked out correct table, I then thought she had gone to get payment machine. But she just hung up. So I called back, another waitress answered. I explained previous call and again asked if I could pay over phone for bottles of bubbles. I was asked to wait a moment whilst she fetched the machine. Whilst I waited I had to listen to what herself and the first waitress were saying about me. Won 't lie, it was very upsetting and I 'm quite a tough cookie. Completely unnecessary and unprofessional as well as hurtful. When she came back on phone I politely told her I heard all their conversation, she went quiet and apologised then asked if still wanted the bubbles. I politely replied 'I don 't think so '. Not sure what to take away from this experience. At least cover phone or put on hold if your going to talk badly about someone who wishes to spend money whom you have never met............"
