"TOURISTS BEWARE! Fun place, good food and good English which means tourists beware... They recommended $47 bottle of wine which was OK. Looked it up the next day and it retailed for $6. When the check was presented on the handheld credit card machine it had check boxes for 5, 10 or 15% tip tourist trap software. I told the waiter that I was confused because my understanding was that service was included by law in France. He gave me the puppy dog face, I fell for it and tipped him 15% on a $300 tab. Asked the concierge when we got back to the hotel and he confirmed the French don't tip more than a few Euros unless the service was exceptional and then never more than 5%. Lesson learned..."

I had a great dinner tonight with my friends who came for the weekend. They were conquered by food and the frame! Thank you also to our dedicated server who appreciated us with its attention and presence!
