"We had an incredible lunch at Le Bistrot à Huîtres. We did not have a reservation but luckily, there was a table available for our late lunch. We both ate the seafood with pasta which was made with a sublime pesto sauce! At the end of the lunch service the cook came out and spoke to the patrons. Everyone that works there is professional and friendly, and I highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to returning."

In Cannes there are quite a few tourist traps in terms of restaurants (fast food disguised as cuisine). This is not one of them. If you plan to visit you should try fish cooked in a bed of salt. It's excellent.
