Le Cafe Coull - Piatti

Great staff service, food was fantastic, large portions, value for money they welcomed our puppy too! Would definitely return!

I had an excellent coffee and scone at Le Cafe Coull whilst cycling along the Moray coast but the main thing I want to praise the café for is the friendly staff and atmosphere.

Popped on for coffee and cakes. Home baked traditional range which were lovely rock bun and malteser cake. Also serves lunch. Staff friendly and chatty. Can park outside for 30 minutes Visualizza piatti

This place has gone downhill. Went with pals for lunch and it was hardly cooked to perfection. We all left food on our plates. Was going to have pudding but after 20 minutes of waiting for our plates to be lifted, we paid and left. It wasn't even busy. Won't be back.

We decided to try here again while in Buckie, were disappointed to find a lack of waiting staff, the place was very busy and the waitress was rushing about trying to get round everyone, I wanted to get out of my chair and give her a hand, and all the while there were raised voices barking at her when she stepped into the kitchen. Very hard working. Food was great but this did let our visit down.

We decided to come here as we had been in during the week but it was too busy to get a table, so we thought it must be good. Well the service was terrible, the waitresses just stood at the counter and did not come to take our order for a long time, we mostly all ordered the roast dinners, the meals were good but with basic presentation, the waitress serving our table made us feel we were in the way and was not overly happy to serve us at all. Me and my hubby came here for our dinner, we were enjoying our meal which was the special deal for pensioners. We suddenly heard shouting coming from the kitchen, the member of staff in the kitchen was shouting abuse at the waitress, I felt for her as this is no way to treat staff and more importantly this should not be done in earshot of the customers, she left visibly upset and distressed. I hope that the management will be informed as this is a terrible way to treat colleagues.

Not particularly busy when we arrived, but it took over 20mins before someone came to take our order. We were brought our tea and then waited 25-30mins more for our food... macaroni cheese, nothing special or difficult to prepare. When it arrived it was nice, but not sure worth the wait. We didn't seem to be the only ones waiting an age for food. Perhaps this was a kitchen staffing problem as there were 3 people working the cafe floor. Certainly won't be back if I'm time restrained

Little loud. Place was packed, but they were very accommodating. Asked if we could come back in 20 mins- 30 mins, they reserved a table for us. The food was really yummy. Had fish, chips, and side salad. Everything is nice and fresh. Decent portion size. Like everything, everywhere, prices have gone up. But they've managed to keep it reasonable. We had ordered pudding, but had to leave before eating, staff very kindly boxed it for us to take with us. 1 bread and butter pudding, 1 apple crumble. Apple crumble lovely and soft, tasted delicious. Being picky I would have liked more apple. Parking: It can be awkward to find a space close by, due to popularity, and on a main road.
