Le Chateaubriand - Piatti

Great place with good dishes and wines. The tasting menu is a variety of flavours. Staff is lovely but service could be better for the price...

It was overpriced for the food and for the atmosphere. We had 9 dishes, but we did not like at least 4 of them, the rest was just ok. Overrated place. Lovely staff.

Pleasant, enthusiastic staff and an interesting fixed menu comprising 3 main courses, 2 deserts and 3 amuse bouche. Whilst not overly convinced by some of the chef's decisions, it was, overall, a very enjoyable experience that kept getting better. Definitely worth a try! Visualizza piatti

on my list for a long time I've passed the step this weekend and the result is very good. a wind of freshness in alliances. products I never thought I'd see and eat in a restaurant. The atmosphere is nice and casual. The price quality report is really at the rdv. nice service. Good night.

By accident me and my husband got a reservation into this very lovely restaurant on our honeymoon trip. Service was wonderful, menu was perfect - not too fancy but just the right way authentinc and simple. Flavors were well balanced and wine pairings were outstanding. I loved the atmosphere: restaurant was full, waiters were keeping themselves busy and everybody had a great time! Beautiful night to remember ❤️

if you get the odd, they give you a 10-step menu, with for example a bit (not more than 1/2 cm in diameter) depalta floating in a bit of lemon, or a drink of cold parsley soup with a little cream, and all for the style, you are happy and you will pay for this 70€ per person plus wine. I also understand people who can delir with this. Maybe that's the thing, there's no middle point. The attention was amazing, the moza was great, super friendly and all were very good at work. I should have thought that being able to make a reservation for a highly rated restaurant a few days in advance of diner was a warning sign. Some of teh dishes especially what they call amuse bouche or appetizers were very good. The main dish were not as great. Deserts were mediocre, luckily my partner opted for the cheeses (which were not recommended). Not that the cheeses were great but the desert was disappointing. Waiters were OK but it felt they were young amateurs more interested in their social lives than in the guests

Incuriositi dalla fama di questo neo bistrot abbiamo deciso di provarlo. Il locale e' piacevole, inserito in una via non lontana dal Canal Saint Martin. Non esiste la carta, una sola proposta di circa 7 portate a 70 euro per persona.Le porzioni sono molto piccole e purtroppo non si fanno, a mio avviso, per nulla desiderare. Ci vengono serviti piatti molto banali, a volte quasi impresentabili per un conto finale di 170 euro in due. Per citarne alcuni: un pezzettino di tonno con ciliegie (niente di che), del pollo con le verdure (insipido, quasi da ospedale), un raviolo in un brodo di barbe rosse (anche questo completamente insipido). Unica cosa buona il dolce, ma certo il tutto non giustifica...

No amount of pretension can cover up bad food. It’s just the opposite at Le Chateaubriand, a rather pretentious name for a bistro with the food served in a buzzy setting makes you weep with joy there’s a good chef in the kitchen and helpful and excited staff in the dining room. Since the menu at Le Chateaubriand is a set menu and changes every day it’s difficult to say what’s the best part of the meal since it’s unlikely you’ll have the same meal we had. I will say every one of the five starters was a surprise and delight. The portions were small so don’t fear the numbers.
