"We went there in total 3 times. The first one was just for a drink. We had a good quality vin chaud, the dog Ninja came to visit us and the young man serving us was very pleasant. Encouraged by this we went for dinner that evening. The food was good and the service was OK. We were encouraged by this and decided to go again the evening after. This visit was absolutely horrendous. The food was still fine but the service was terrible. We had a very early dinner, arriving at about 6pm. We ordered and got the food, ate it chatting away as is normal when dining in company. The woman serving us appeared to be in a very big hurry to get rid of us as she repeatedly came to the nearly empty dining section, stopped and stared us angrily and stayed like that for several minutes, before turning and going away. The dining section was nearly empty so there was no reason to hurry up clients. When we had finished and our plates were empty, she came to us and said Termine . We said Yes as we understood that she asked us if we had finished. She then said Fini which we again understood to mean finished and we nodded. She then immediately came to us with the bill, without asking if we wanted any dessert. We handed her the credit card, she coughed very loudly and conspiciously into her hands, took the credit card, handed the machine to us for the PIN, after we had input the PIN she handed back the credit card, WHICH SHE HAD HANDLED WITH HER HANDS SHE HAD JUST COUGHED INTO. We were horrified by this level of unhygienic behaviour and quickly fled without saying anything as that would have been useless anyway taking into account our basic French and her near total lack of English. This was also the only meal we have ever in France when we didn 't get any bread with our meal. We got bread with our meal the day before, and we saw other diners getting bread, so it was not a matter of them having had ran out of bread. Stay out of this place if you appreciate any kind of service and compliance with hygiene measures."
